Sigh...
'Tag,
Sigh... I'm starting to miss Europe again. I keep remembering everything I did over there and how care free I was. I saw so many amazing things and all of it only in ten days. I still remember my trip as if it were yesterday, and it depresses me knowing it'll be another few years before I can go back. Sigh.. I miss it dearly.

I remember the first day when we arrived in Italy. I was amazed at how different it was. The trees were completely different, the houses, and how traditional it looked; Canada is too modern. Rome was an amazing place. The colosseum, Sistine Chapel, and seeing the Pope.. What could ever top that? We even got to witness a run that was extremely far distance. People from all over the world were at this specific event, and it was cool. Only thing I disliked was when I got screamed at in Italian. I still don't know what I did wrong, but I guess I'll never know.

We did all the sightseeing the second day in Europe. Well, all the sightseeing of Rome. We walked every where around the city, and it was just great. We even got to see the old places where Mussolini lived in his reign. There were also some other historic sites we saw as well, but Sistine Chapel topped everything. When you see it on the outside, its not that big when you look at it; however, on the inside, its massive and really intimidating. The thing that had me standing in awe the most was the fact that I was looking up at Michelangelo's paintings. Some of the ceiling was even covered in gold plates, and there were millions of statues on the walls. Just plain out amazing.

The colosseum though, we didn't get much time in. I saw the place where the lions and etc. were placed during the events, and that really interested me. Our tour guide Patricia talked for only awhile and then we had five minutes of free time. Just standing in the colosseum had me overwhelmed. The history.. all that history. I imagined all the spectators sitting and watching the lions and men below them. Sigh... it was great. Only thing is that I didn't get to go to the second floor of the place, considering I couldn't find where the ******** you went to get up there.

Italy was a beautiful place, but soon we left; Too soon in my opinion. We left and boarded onto our cruise ship we had to take over to Greece. It was extremely huge and there was over 500 passengers. The food wasn't that enjoyable, but the view was. It was really windy though during the night and I was freaking out because I didn't want to fall overboard. My friend and I ended up going to bed early that night and I was glad to wake up safely; I thought we might crash over the night or something because during the night a storm started.

Greece is a place I want to return to for sure. We got to see Pompeii, famous for the great volcanic explosion that covered it completely. I even got to see some bodies that had been mummified in volanic ash, and some skeleton was visable. We also looked at this huge arch that was 100 ft. high and carved in marble. The arch itself contained 140 different animals all carved in that marble. It was amazing (sorry for repeating amazing so much, but it's true). My group also saw Olympia. The temples and the very first stadium of the Olympics. There wasn't much left of it, but it was still interesting. I saw the spot where Hera sat, the only women to witness the Olympics.

There was a lot of things we did, but I am growing tired of thinking about it. It depresses me each time I remember how much I love it there. I'm not saying I hate Canada, but it was just thrilling for me over there. New experience, new lust. Well, till next time.. Tschau
