Fused to the earth like a soul to the sky,
and I'll run all the way there,
so you can stay and laugh as the winds go sour,
for nothing would make it more real,
than to hold you to my face and to smell the love.
Only knowing it hurts when you fall from the dream,
helping the selfish to take all your pride,
though you never realy wanted to find a way out,
skipping along waving your cares to the masses,
blow kisses to yourself in the dark.
Does it feel like they say it can when you trip on the cracks,
more like tears from a spider who lost it's spinner,
who never had a chance to show the world who they weren't.
You look to the sea for cheer and lust,
dealing out words that make little girls fall in sorrow,
holding that doll so close to their hearts,
pulling away from anyone who would so much as dare to exist.
