Sitting watching movie when dad suddendly says: Do me a favor and NEVER fall in love
I Sit there and stare at him like: What the hell are you talking about...
He then says: It'll consume most of your time...by consume I don't mean Sex I'm mean they are who you always seem to be thinking of
My response: Whatever: I go beck to watching the movie...
Movie seen...Girl's sister calls her and says she's has a fiancee and their dad approved because her fiancee asked his permission to marry her...
Dad starts talking again....I'm spacing out not listening...Then these words register in my mind (these words are said jokinly by my dad): I will hunt him down and kill him
I turn to him and say: WHAT!!!
He repeats his sentence (still jokingly): If your future husband. if you have one, doesn't ask my permission to marry you I will hunt him down and kill himm: He then adds this: Okay maybe I'll hurt him really badly (still joking): I'm staring at him appalled then he says "okay okay I'll just give him a black eye"
What would you do if you father started an awkward conversation like that?
Oh and fair warning to all the guys out there...father's are EXTREMELY protective over their daughters so if you are wanting to ask a girl to marry you be sure to get the father's permission first...or you could end up bruised...
