Apparently tea is now considered ‘brain food’ in my house. Today I had Lazard get down the instant ice tea maker, one of mans most awesome inventions. On the side of the pitcher, the part that the ice tea ends up in, read ‘brain food’ on a sticker; one of those banana stickers. At first I just gave out a little chuckle then I had to think how it got there. How it got there isn’t surprising, I put it on there when making some ice tea while eating a banana, big shocker I know, but when is the question. It was nearly four years ago! We, my mother, step-father, little brother (aka the dog, Blackie) and Sammy where still in the house on commercial street. The sticker is worn out a little and some what faded from all the usage and dishwasher-ie-ness.

I’m sure all of you who are reading this wanted to know that, but it was just interesting to me.

Lazard and I are in the basement and things are moving along slowly but constantly busy. He is our grounds keeper now… and currently taking a week off after graduating!!! Yeah! Mom is a little worried about him not working, but I’m sure she’ll get over it soon enough.

Sometimes I’m unsure about ‘us.’ But I think that just comes with the territory. Sometimes I’m worried that because he’s my first *cough* that I feel like I have to be with him. But I like being with him. He makes me happy and I feel like I can do pretty much anything if I want. Sure we get a little annoyed with each other, but at the end of the day I’m just so thankful to have him in my life.

Oh! Medical stuff- the results of my MRI is that some of my spin bones are broken. That’s probably why I can’t really feel my left side. I’m going to physical therapy three times a week, it’s a little annoying because I feel that I can walk most of the time rather well, but I still carry the cane around because I get nervous and sometimes loose feeling in my leg altogether. Though, in Costco, I did get to ride one of those power-chair-scooter-things when Lazard got new contacts; it didn’t have the “BEEP-BEEP-BEEP” sound when you backed up. This made me sad. Anyways, I can’t go to work because that requires I stand all day and I’m trying to get the nerve going better so I can get back to work so I can get money to get a new car.

Speaking of new cars, since I have had all this free time, I’ve been researching cars for this area. I wanted another Subaru because they’re a good car, but the New VW Beetle is cheaper and just as good. I have wanted one since they came out back in like 2002 (now I’m figuring out when it really came out on the line). Ha! 1998 is when the first started out! Wow, nearly ten years of wanting this car. TEN YEARS! I still don’t know if I can/will or not yet though. But we’ll see.
