Eyes
I sighed softly as I continued to gaze at my gardens. Another restless night. For a while, I did this; I slept during most of the day, stayed up all night. But Tama got wise and began doing the same. I sighed again and stood, going over to my vanity and sitting upon my stool. My eyes glowed back at me in the mirror. Tama likes that about my eyes; I could lead anyone on the manor anywhere without needing a single candle. That's probably one reason he made me his mate; my red eyes that could see in the dark. I reached into the center drawer of my vanity, pulling out my "wedding" ring. That's what humans call this ring. Demons like me don't wear these things. They have no meaning to us. I sighed and slipped in on my finger before crawling into my black king sized canopy bed with black silk sheets. I got under the sheets and dosed off...
