He looked into her eyes,
but then looked away,
he couldn't gather the words,
It was needless to say.
He wanted to tell her,
of how he loved her so,
he tried holding on too tightly,
afraid to let her go.
He didn't want to break her,
and tell her the news,
that in less than a month,
he would have to move.
He thought about the end,
taking his own life,
the pills helped him out,
it was better than the knife.
He couldn't tell her,
that he was leaving,
gazing into her sparkling blue eyes,
His insides angrily screaming.
He never got to show her,
how much he really cared,
because a few days later,
He wasn't even there.
He had taken too much,
slits on both wrists,
leaving her a letter,
sealed with his kiss.
Before his last breath,
he carved her name into his arm,
the bloody razor dripping,
he didn't seem alarmed.
In fact he was smiling,
as he whispered soft words,
He loved her so much,
then sobbing was heard.
He only did this,
because he didn't want to leave,
he hoped she'd forgive him,
at least that's what he believed.
"I never meant to hurt you,
I never showed my broken side,
Just know that I loved you,”
He wrote..
"And that's why I died."
