No place to go
Alone, abandoned and friendless,
she walks through the streets.
She looks for a way to forget.
She is tired, hungry.
Nothing to do, no place to go.
Strangers pass her by.
They give her horrid, unkind stares,
They do not know her,
yet they know they do not like her.
Nothing she can do.
There must be a way to escape.
To fly far away
Alone, abandoned and friendless,
she walks through the streets.
She looks for a way to forget.
She is tired, hungry.
Nothing to do, no place to go.
Strangers pass her by.
They give her horrid, unkind stares,
They do not know her,
yet they know they do not like her.
Nothing she can do.
There must be a way to escape.
To fly far away
