Welcome to the world of the very nearly insane...
Booklist
I've read some pretty good books lately, so I thought I'd make a list of books I've liked for any book-lovers out there and maybe get some good reading suggestions from others as well.

Fiction:
Confessions of Georgia Nicolson series - A hilarious diary series of a British high school girl written by Louise Rennison. Take a look at the website here: http://www.georgianicolson.com/

Harry Potter series - Written by J.K. Rowling, this well-known fantasy series may not be the greatest writing, but the storytelling and imagination is wonderful. J.K. Rowling's website

Lord of the Rings series - A well-known fantasy trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkein, these books, while long, put both wonderful imagination and insights into real life to good use.

Wicked - Gregory Maguire's wonderfully fun (if a bit racy) novel about the life of the Wicked Witch of the West (from The Wizard of Oz) was turned into a Broadway musical for a good reason.

The Little Prince - Antoine de Saint-Exupery's charming first novel (with pictures by the author himself) is about an air plane pilot whose plane crashes in the Sahara and the stranded young boy from another planet that asks the pilot to "Draw me a sheep."

Non-Fiction:
A People's History of the United States - When I got this book by Howard Zinn for summer reading for my history class, I thought it would be a typical text book. Still in the process of reading the book, I feel that I'm reading about details and interesting facts that I never knew before.

Night - Eli Wiesel's autobiographical account of his experiences in the Holocaust is heart wrenching and sad with a clear message of "never again."
