Out of pure boredom, and a slight wish to have a journal again, I have decided to post Hit Parader's list of Heavy Metal's All-Time Top 100 Underground Bands. I will post one band each time I log on.
100. Venom - As one of the key European bands of the early '80s, this rough 'n ready crew almost single-handedly drew up the blueprint for the Black Metal movement that would soon emerge as a vital hard rock scene on both sides of the Atlantic.
Most recent album: Metal Black.
As a Christian, I would not recommend Venom to anyone, as their music (not to mention their lifestyles and album art) carries heavy Satanic references.
