All these words of frustration and anger consume me.
Like the crashing of waves from a tormented sea.

I've no will to fight, I let it all sink in.
Enslaved by these hurtful words i'm thinkin.

I wish to cause pain, but that's all it is
... they're nothing more but wishes.

I wanna shout, let it all out, to justify my feelings.
I wanna let everyone know of my dealings...with life.

I smile and laugh like nothing's wrong.
No one cares what's going on.

Cuz they don't know what I do.
I've put up a wall and won't let no one through.

But i'm tired of running, I'm done.
So what if who listens is: no one?

She left me here for all the drugs and the lies.
She doesn't care that she severed the family ties.

She cares for the "buzz" that's all, but when the "buzz" is gone and done,
She'll be stranded alone with no one.

I say I don't care, but I lied.
Do you know how many times I've almost cried?

In fear of myself and what life has to offer is my way of living,
But you'll never know cuz I hide behind a mask, while all the time giving.

For once I want someone to give back.
It's not much to ask, for in self-esteem I lack.

Your happiness kills me inside,
but i'm gonna keep living, I've not yet died.

As for her, she doesn't know what she's missin.
Nor do I care if she doesn't listen.

I am me, that's all I can be,
And I ensure myself that everyone will see.

Though I'm happy and confident my hearts filled with dread.
Cuz these flustered emotions still swim in my head.

I want the world to know how I feel.
Believe me, these things I say are real.

But to hell with that, it's so over-rated.
Cuz my love for her expired...it's way out-dated.
