broken angel

i am an angel,
who can no longer fly
who's wings have been clipped
from someone who used to love me
i have been left on the ground
to lose my special light
to lose my dream of flight
he made me fly
i was able to reach my dreams
to shine just for him
i cant anymore
even though he hurt me
i cant live without him
i have tried to shine
for another
but i failed
now i am nothing more
than an angel with clipped wings
