I am in a very type-y mood. I just feel like talking. So I am going to rant for a bit about random crap that I have noticed over the past week or so. I haven't ranted in a while so please give me a minute to warm up to it.
Long time no talky! I understand that you all missed me sooo much and that you are all very glad that I am back to fill your lives with something interesting! I appreiciate that! (Oh how I wish I had fans.)
I saw Pan's Labrynth and I must say that it scared me very badly! It was sick and twisted and freaky and inhumane and DAMN was it good! I promise you will love it... it you havn't seen it yet, you have to go see it now!
I was trying to find new music to listen to and I came across T.a.T.u (or however you say it... it will be 'Tatu' from now on.) I had liked them when they first appeared on the music scene but it wasn't until recently that I fell in love again! I have always loved, "All the Things She Said" but I really like "Perfect Enemy" and "All About Us" they are wonderful songs! I also finally got Gazette onto my iPod. I love those men... Uruha, Aoi, Reita, Kai and Ruki FTW! I love Reita.
Anywho...
I was playing Banjo Kazooie the other day and I've never quite noticed how increadably fun that game is! Video games used to be a LOT more fun than they are now... the funnest game I've played in a long time is Guitar Hero! I can barely play Medium, but it's still great! Star Fox Adventures is also pretty cool, but it super reminds me of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for some reason. It's a lot of fun, but The Prince Tricky makes me want to kill myself in a slow and painful manner.
I've been spending a lot of my time on my yaoi role playing site. OH NOES! HE'S A YAOI LOVER!!! HIDE THE BOYS! --shut up. I like yaoi, so what. I am gay. Rawr. Anyway... if you think that sounds cool and you want to play too, please go to yaoiland.proboards49.com and DON'T flame me. I seriously can't stand people who freak out when I tell them I like yaoi.
Rawr.
Rawr means Raging Anger Within Rising/Rises according to a little doodle I saw the other day on Google.
Ooo! Speaking of unknown artists! Please help me persuade someone to come back to the art world of the internet! Ruaki-chan is an incredably talented person, but she took all of her art away from the internet because of some plagerism crap that she had to deal with... people were stealing her art. What asses. Anyway, she is an amazing artist and I'd love to see her art back on the web so if you could email her and tell her she rocks, I'd appreciate it.
Oh! I need a job! I'd love to get one with Gaia, but I have no way of living near their offices. Unless they have one in Atlanta. *prays* So if you or your company is hiring and you'd like a 19-year-old highschool graduate, please PM me! lol
I can't think of anything else that I'd like to rant about so... *dies*
I guess that means I'm done for the day! But I would like to do an anime blurb so let me prepare for that *ahem*
Shiro's Anime Blurb
In my anime blurb, I like to announce an anime that I like and solicit it to the world. I will reveiw almost any anime so if you have any suggestions, please cooment them to me.
Today's anime is Azumanga Daioh! It follows the story of a class of highschool girls and their struggle to make it to senior year! They have all sorts of wierd dreams and get it to a bunch or crazy shinnanagans! (sp?)
Azumanga Daioh! is great because even if you have never seen it, you can name atleast one character- Chiyo-chan. Chiyo-chan is like Vash the Stampede, you just know who she is from birth! Azumanga Daioh! has a great cast of colorful characters that all have their own personality, my personal favorites being Sakaki and Osaka with maybe Tomo in a close third. You hate her at fist but soon grow to like her.
Azumanga Daioh! is short as a manga but it a decently sized anime at 26 episodes, which seems to be the standard. It takes a little bit of adaptation and is no fun to watch yourself. You have to watch it with your best friend or lover in order to fully enjoy it. Especially when you realize how reused and repetative some of the little one-shots are.
It's meant to be humorus and is SEVERLY at times, but I did find some insight and good lessons in it. It also yanked a few tears out of me somehow.
I can't find a quote about it by a professional, but this is what Shea said:
"WTF?" -Shea

Well, thanks for reading and I look forward to next time!
