Yay... so enough soliciting... let's talk about me now, shall we?
First, I want to complain that if you have a link on Gaia that has a posessive noun in it that ends in appostrophy 's' Gaia feels the need to stick an ugly backslash in there! This irks me to no end! It's Shiro's Lottery, not Shiro's Lottery... Why does that happen?? Also-- The post limit! My god, the post limit. This thing is as annoying as crap and it pisses not only me, but everybody off. Rawr. It takes to long and sometimes it seems to change times. One time I waited almost 10 minutes before Gaia would let me post again... it's ridiculous. Rawr.
That's enough complaining for one day, I think it's time for...
Shiro's Anime Blurb
In my anime blurb, I like to announce an anime that I like and solicit it to the world. I will reveiw almost any anime so if you have any suggestions, please cooment them to me.
Today's anime is Elfin Lied. It follows the story of Lucy, a diclonious that breaks free from her holding institute to wreak havoc upon the citizens of the world. Not quite. It follows her journey of finding herself and a place where she belongs.
I love this anime from the blood to the nudity to the freakiness to the music. There is not a single part of this anime that is unenjoyable. I must warn you that I would rate it R for severe violence and frightening images. (And maybe the fact that Lucy tends to like being naked.) The story is short (only 14 episodes) but fufilling. It makes you laugh and cry, but mostly you just end up starring at the screen with a twisted look of concern.
The ending is terribly sad and made me cry like a little girl, so be prepared for that too.
The english dubbing is HORRENDOUS!! PLEASE! Do not ruin this wondeful anime by watching it in English, you will rip the DVD from your player and toss it out the window before rushing to dial 911 to aid your bleeding ears. The voices are horrible... enough said.
Overall, I give Elfin Lied a 10/10 because there is nothing disappointing about it.
