Ricky was still on his way to the Darkness Village and on his way, he saw two guards asleep in holes next to the entrance. He walked even further into the village and saw the Dark Tower. He reached for the door, but it shot a spark at him when he touched it.
Up in the tower...
Shadow: Master, you must rest. If you wish to ever face her again, you must get your energy back.
Josh: Wait... I sense someone is here... go check the front...
Shadow: Yes Master...
While Ricky was still trying to find a way to get in, the front door opened and Shadow was on the other side.
Shadow: Yes?
Ricky: I came to speak with your heir.
Shadow: He will not talk to anyone. Please leave now.
Ricky: It concerns the Earth heir...
Shadow: ..... Fine, hurry. Come in!
They both walk up the stairs into Josh's room. When they open the door...
Josh: Shadow! How could you let someone in!?
Shadow: He has some useful information about the Earth Princess.
Josh: Who are you?
Ricky: My name is Ricky, the heir to the water village throne. I have not only come to make peace with you, but to help you get your revenge on Jenny.
Josh: I'm listening.
Ricky: Killing her would be letting her off easy. The best way to make her suffer is to torture her.
Josh: And how do we do that?
Ricky: Killing the people that she loves... the Fire heir for example...
Josh: Shadow, was that the other person with her earlier?
Shadow: Yes it was master....
Josh: I see.... And why would you want to help me?
Ricky: I want my revenge on the fire heir, so i figured why not kill two birds with one stone?
Josh: I see. So you are here to basically turn my attention from Jenny, because you obviously like her, to the person you want to get rid of, bit still hurting the person you like at the same time?
Ricky: Well when you put it that way it sounds so-
Josh: Dark? Where do you think you are? Fine, I agree, but don't think I'm doing it for your revenge, I just want to see the Earth Princess suffer. I am still injured by my battle with her, but Shadow here has the power to combine with any living being, increasing their power tenfold. He will come with you. With his help, you will have no problem taking this fire heir out...
Ricky: ... Thank you. Let's go Shadow...
Shadow: Yes sir...
Back at the Earth Village, Jenny was doing the exact same thing Daniel was doing for her, waiting by his bed until he heals. Jenny couldn't help but question whether Ricky did it for her, or to get rid of Daniel...
Jenny: [Thinking] Why would Ricky do something like this? He has always been so sweet and kind, and the Ricky I know would never do this! What has happened to him? Where did he go? Wh- [knock, knock, knock] What?
Matt was standing in the door.
Matt: Can I come in?
Jenny: Sure...
Matt: He looks pretty beat up. Ricky must have done one heck of a number on him.
Jenny: Ya...
Matt: And seeing him head towards the Drakness village afterwards just makes you wonder what he's up to.
Jenny: What? The Darkness Village?
Matt: Ya, I saw him head that way after you took Daniel inside.
Jenny: What would he be doing there?
Matt: I don't know...
Ricky from outside the castle: Hey Daniel! I know you're in there! Come on out!
Daniel: uuuuuuhhhhh......
Jenny: Oh no! What are we gonna do! He will kill Daniel!
Matt: I'll take care of him...
Matt walked down to the entrance and saw Ricky combined with Shadow.
Matt: Well, looks like someone combined with a shadow spirit. I'm guessing you got that from the darkness village huh?
Ricky: Stand back Matt. I'm here to fight Daniel, not you.
Matt: Well, to get to Daniel, you have to fight me first.
Ricky: Bad Mistake.
Matt: We'll see.
Matt turned on his element.
Matt: You'll never get past me. I'll freeze any water you send at me.
