The light extinguished in the silent sky, I look up with dismay.
Its dark now and I have not found my way.
Noise fills the air as I shiver in fear.
Animals are fine and dandy it those villainous creatures
From the movies that eat folks like candy.
I frantically look around for a cave with an entrance round,
Or a low tree I might climb and sleep in for the night.
As I look my mind trails of to how I got here,
But a noise stopped that right in its tracks.
Rustle, snap, hum, right in my ears.
Mumble, mumble, a voice sets my fears.
I freeze thinking what a stupid thing to do.
As I look around the forest I see nothing.
It must have been the wind, I think reassuringly.
I must get out I’m starting to freeze,
It’s so cold I think I hear a tree sneeze
