Well the green eyes play a big role in the story. Whenever the Uzai Children activate their powers their eyes turn green. The Cornea not the whole eye! Reason why is really unknown to me but I put it in there. I believe its because when the Uzai gene came to be it was in a little girl and her eyes were naturally green but she was Japanese so thats very rare to find. Or it could also be when they were creating the Virus it was a glowing green liquid that messed up your DNA and all that and somehow gave you the green eyes everytime you activated your Uzai gene!

Quick summary of the Characters in book one. These are the main Characters, I lost the book so I dont know who the others are.

Yuki Shinohara-14- He is the very beginning of the story in the first book, Army Brat: The evolution of the mutation. His father was Ren Shinohara and his ability was one of the very common in this time. Increased speed,strength,sense. He was willing to take his own life in order to kill his father. In the end of the book you'll see if he does what he needs to do. He was strong willed and determined yet shy he even dressed up like a girl to get where he needed to be.

Katsuo-17-It's been awhile since I have read my first book but you'll see his last name soon enough. He is the cousin of Yuki and was his protector in order to get close to Ren. He wanted to kill Ren just like a lot of people. His ability at first was to regenerate faster than anyone else was, every other Uzaian could heal fast but he was much faster.

Kim Otigawa-15-Kim is a young girl who belonged to a Yakuza family, much like Yuki. Her father was not much of importance in her life but she had to make it work somehow so she ran away and got herself a apartment and new life. She finds Yuki and Katsuo then ends up helping them bring Ren down. She in the end fights Yuki in order for her goal to be fulfilled.

Emi Masuko-17-She is Katsuo girlfriend and she wants to help as much as necessary but she isn't able to. She gets her powers in the end and cant do much.

Ren Shinohara-36-He just founded his own company, Fantasy Inc, and became head chairman of the Yakuza in Tokyo. He tries to kill his own son in hopes of bringing his own daughter back from the grave. He is the most evil character ever to face and is stronger with his ability then anyone else.

Koori Shinohara-67-He is Yuki's grandfather and has helped him throughout the book without even making notice of himself. You would never know what side he was on but you think its most obvious. He stepped down from being apart of the Yakuza and bought one last gift for Yuki, Chitsumi, so that he could take care of himself for awhile. He can make ice but he never showed that to anyone...
