A dead chick and teh may0r's secretary.
SO, I telemarket for work/community service, right? I'm going through the call list and I see the name James Torrey. Jim Torrey is the mayor of my city. I think that there's no way it could be him; he was a mayor for 8 years, they wouldn't have him on the list of people to call and find out their thoughts on the issues. Turns out it WAS him. But he was out of the country, and I only talked to his secretary. Still though, the mayor almost got a call from me, a phone solicitor. That would have been way too neat. Also I had to call somebody named Jeanie. A man answered, and I asked if Jeanie was home. He said "Yeah, she's right here". I say "Hello Jeanie, I'm a Lane County Volunteer, so you have tme to answer a few questions about ou preside---" "Jeanie is deceased". So yeah. THe phones was handed to Jeanie. Who is dead, apparently. Musta claaed during the wake or something and post-mortem burps told me her fate.
