~What happened to time?~
What happened to now?
What happened to today?
What happened to time?
To where has it slipped away?
I started as a child
when time had no meaning.
I was reckless and wild,
not caring, not thinking.
Then came the teen years,
that I didn't want to let go
I thought I knew everything
But had everything yet to know.
Before I knew it, I was an adult
going to college, and settling down
with responsibility piling on me
and going off on my own.
Then once again time flew,
and I was old and whithered
with nothing to do
but hither and tither.
So now I say. . .
Time goes too fast
so don't look back.
Keep on moving forward,
don't get stuck in the past.
Now what happened to now?
What happened to today?
What happened to time?
I still can't say.
