And the Math Exam Was Failed.
The flipping of Math notes and reviewers could barely be heard over the voices of students asking last-minute questions about the 1 hour and 30 minute Math exam. Some were scared, while others were laid-back about it.

Nevertheless, the time soon came when we had to finally sit up straight, bend over our tables and start scribbling answers.

Our proctor started peering at each one of us from the top of her glasses, making it seem like she was glaring.

The rules were:
a) Don't look sideways.
b) Don't talk.
c) Sleep or pray after the exam.
d) Keep quiet.
e) One move, and you're dead.

These were strictly implemented, and for a while, it was like Martial Law had been imposed once again.

People took care to just keep quiet until they were able to leave, which was approximately one hour from then.

Sighs and groans could be heard every now and then. Even the silence of the classroom was not able to mask the thick, terrible aura surrounding the room. The aura of dread.

Soon, however, the bell that signalled the passing of one hour rang. The proctor finally broke the silence, announcing that students who were finished may leave their tests on her table and leave - quietly, of course.

A countable number of students remained. Eight... Maybe 9? But one thing was for sure - they were either checking their answers, or trying to figure out the answers to the two bonus questions.

Everyone left anyway, after 30 minutes had passed. And so the day of the Math exams ended.

'Til next time. domokun
