Why So Dark? Why Never Light?
From the novel, I close my eyes.
I see you, music of the night.
Why so dark? Why never light?
You, still yearning for something that
You know you will never gain?
Beauty, love, compassion and heaven?
You somehow knew you would recieve
The opposite.
Monster, hattred, apathy, and hell.
Why try so hard? When what you
Have been yearning for is in your face?
Beauty, is something within.
Love, is a gift/curse yet no matter what
Its beautiful.
Compassion, is something you give and receive.
While heaven is your choice and savior,
To you it can only be.
Why so dark, music of the night?
Deep inside within you, there is still light.
You grew up alone, with no one by your side.
From your surroundings, people misjudge
And could only see from your appearence.
So you were forced to seek for
Isolation as your only solution.
The face beneath the mask will always
Remain, so will the truth of your inner beauty.
