Flirtatious, composed, nonchalant and popular may be what people picture Kenji as because of his outerior image. Always titled as a role model, he is an intelligent character with an athletic build. Mr. Perfect perhaps? In truth, he wishes to be left alone with those who truly understand him. He can be fun-loving as well as good-hearted nevertheless. Kenji is quite naive when it comes to his relationship with Yasuo due to his uncertaintly about his sexuality and will pulverize anyone who teases him. Really, all he needs is a good hug.
Note: He can cook and clean since both his parents died in a car crash. So he had to learn how to take care of himself.

Nothing more or less than a sweet-heart, he dearly loves to be around his friends and enjoys company very much. A child at heart? Indeed. Sincerity, gullible, friendliness and immaturity are his main characteristics. If you're down, Yasuo will do everything that he can to cheer you up. From jokes, to tricks, to talking through his plushies just to make others giggle. Basically, it is quite hard to find him depressed. Whenever he has the chance, Yasuo will always try to be as close to Kenji as possible. He loves Kenji with all his heart and hopes he will accept his feelings someday.
Note: He has a whole collection of soft toys. At least sixty or so.

History: (I'll redo this and make it all lengthy-like. x_X; )
Back when they were eight years of age, Kenji and Yasuo used to be the best of friends after meeting each other at a dinner party their parents held. Yasuo took a certain liking towards Kenji when he first set his cheerful yellow eyes onto him because he felt this certain 'connection'. They would always play together whenever they had the chance at the local park and treasured their memories..
Shuffling his feet, safe in black boots, against the floor covered in snow, Kenji held out a small package wrapped in pink paper along with a huge, yellow ribbon. Gray orbs searched the area around them and had yet to find a single soul but the one in front of him. It was around half past eight and both their parents would have been searching for them at least an hour ago. Well, it did not matter.. He could take care of himself and Yasuo.
He felt his cheeks warmed up as Yasuo blinked his curious eyes at him. "What's that?" The brunette child asked quietly while he snuggled deeper into his -a bit too large- coffee colored coat. It was getting a chilly that evening though he was glad Kenji called him out.
"Well.. I thought.. since you gave me this.." It was an unexpected gift. Kenji pointed at the orange-red scarf around his neck Yasuo made for him over the winter season. It was made of silky texture and yet duable enough to last throughout his entire life. Yasuo had specially picked out the needed materials for a perfect Christmas present and had given all his time as well as love to knit the scarf together. Obviously Yasuo had made a little rabbit mark onto the cloth because he for one was a bunny according to the Zodiac legend.. and that he wanted Kenji to be his. "I should give you something in return..
He heaved a sigh of relief when Yasuo took the package and began unwrapping it. It only took the boy a few seconds since he was quite excited to see what was inside. A toy? A cup? What was it? A pity at how the brown haired boy was tearing away at the paper since Kenji had specifically picked it out for him. 'As long as he likes it.. I don't care.'
"Kawai!"
An orange clip sat among the bubbly sheets. Kenji knew it was small compared to the scarf Yasuo sewed but he could not do anything else than to carve and stick things. His father was a craftsman and only taught Kenji how to create and make his very own items he could use or give away later on. Since Yasuo had given him something with his Zodiac sign on it, he figured he should do like wise. Thus explained the outlines of a tiger with two black eyes, markings and a side-ways '3' gave it its mouth.
"Do you.. like it?
Sunny goldens opened to the extent that they might pop out and roll across the ground. Yasuo was delighted and extremely happy to be receiving something like that from Kenji! He liked how Kenji made little accessories for his mother and always wanted one but he was too shy to ask.
"I do! I love it! Thank you so much Kenji-kun!" And with that, Yasuo leaned in and kissed Kenji on the cheek.
It was an interesting moment then though it did not last for long. Yasuo was falling in love with Kenji but Kenji wondered whether it was right for him to love Yasuo as well, more than a friend. God created men and women, no? One day, they were encountered by three older -bigger- males who laughed and made fun of them out of pure boredom.
"Aww. Look how cute they are!"
"Haha! It's pitiful to see how young people are when they turn gay!"
"Sad and pitiful, yes!"
Of course, Yasuo did not listen to a word they said and smiled in response. Kenji on the other hand felt embarrassed and fled, leaving Yasuo to question himself. Does Kenji-kun not love me? From then on, they stopped seeing each other and quietly watched their friendship come to a stop.
Yasuo's parents were ordered to move to another continent because of their work and did bring their son with them. Yasuo agreed for he assumed that he was a bother to Kenji and so he paid one final visit to his dear friend's house to say goodbye. Unfortunately, Kenji was not at home (Or he pretended to be) and Yasuo did not really have the time to write him a letter. So he left a tearful note saying 'Goodbye'.
Years flew by and now Kenji is studying to get into one of the top University. He has grown to be a very independant teenager and captured the hearts of many girls (and guys). Intelligent, handsome and athletic.. who could ask for more?
While sitting in homeroom, his teacher mentions about a new student and puts Kenji in charge to take care of him.
And this new student turns out to be none other than Yasuo. What will Kenji do?
Will he seek Yasuo's forgiveness and accept his love?
Or will their childhood dilemma continue to drag on forever?
