First and foremost, my To-Do list was a complete and total failure. I still have someone waiting on auction art, and I feel kind of bad for it. I'm not going to be apping anymore auctions until I get her pieces done, no matter how long it takes me. In fact, I should probably PM the winner to let her know that I haven't forgotten. I just really haven't had time to draw...
On another note, I went for my first forray into the Avatar Arena, and I must say that a lot of the people in the arena are rather rude. With several of the comments, I wanted to bite back harsh replies, but contained myself. The girl that told me 'expensive items don't make crappy ones look better' really needs an attitude adjustment. If I really wanted to go for that option, I would have had on my Horns and Ninja Band, among other things. Honestly... There was a reason for the Gotis and the Demonic Pendant. They brought out the red in the shirt, both of them. The look didn't seem complete without either, and I swear, I would honestly wear Goti clips to school, if I had them.
I'm seeing a pattern, though, in the winners of the arena... overly cluttered avatars with expensive items, and cosplay outfits. Honestly, I think it's ridiculous, and would like to point out that some of these people wouldn't know style if it came up and bit them on the a**.
And.. I think I'm going to get down off my soap box now. Yeah...
