This year I have felt an ache for nostalgia, for simpler times and things that used to bring me such joy. I tried a few months back with an email to the Gaia devs to help me recover my account, since i no longer had access to the yahoo mail it was attached to, nor remembered my ancient password; but no response came. I was dishesrtened.

Then my sister, too, months later wanted of her own volition to get her Gaia back too, and she used the live chat during open hours to get help in real time. And it worked! So I tried too, and got results right away!

And now I'm back!!! All my old items that i hadn't previously sold, right there... and so many new ones to discover and obtain! And the site mostly works exactly how it always had, familiar and timeless, yet also a time capsule.

It makes me so happy. I was active between the years of 2007-2014, and now im back in 2025. Its funny how the internet changes and is all chaotic, but some things we cna come back to, like home.

I missed you, Gaia. Thanks for still being there for me.
