Welcome to the first in Dota's journal. The motivation to get some entries in this thing was triggered by an attempt to interact with the ignorant masses of Gaia. Now, before you start flaming, please understand that I don't necessarily mean YOU. I mean the random overflow of people that don't need to be on here and lack intelligent insight.

I randomly posted about a mule account in the forums. I figured it would score me some gold, and I left a poll for the community to benefit from. Instead of any discussion on the true matter (do new accounts still get starter kits, or was my new mule account glitched-out), I recieve about 10 or so posts of "down with NIPS" and "You only made this topic because somebody else mentioned NIPS".

...Wow. I don't really know what this person was refering to. I guess somewhere on one of the millions of pages in the forums, someone mentioned NIPS (it's just a guess). So I've pretty much abandonned the idea of posting threads on the forums, unless it's in the privacy of the guilds. I'll still PM friends and the cool people I meet at the slots.

It's just...for God's sake. It was a real eye-opener to the fact that a lot of the main-forum Gaia is comprised of junior-highers and lower. "Hrny grlz watn 2 cyber / Boyz only"
I'm glad I have my Becky to remind me that there are some older, mature people on this site still. I guess I should be fair and clear. Just because you're younger does NOT mean that I automatically hate you. I will lose respect for you if you act like these people though.
