Over the years we learn of the existence of "The Golden Rule". What is The Golden Rule? Do on to others as they would do on to you. Nah. Let's say it's "Love Thy Neighbor". But hold on a second, there is an even higher rule. The Platinum Rule? What is the Platinum Rule you may ask? Well, it is simply this.
The Platinum Rule is a theory that explains relationships between neighbors/coworkers/ or someone you see on a daily basis.
The Platinum Rule consists of several steps.
The Platinum Rule:
Step 1: Attraction - The ignition of desire
Step 2: Bargaining - Weighing the possibilities with close friends
Step 3: Submission - Jumping in
Step 4: Perks - Relishing in the "benefits" of the relationship
Step 5: The Tipping Point - Where it starts to go downhill
Step 6: Purgatory - The culmination of annoyances
Step 7: Confrontation - Ending the relationship
Step 8: Fallout - The unavoidable backlash
Step 9: Coexistence - Letting go and moving on.
So next time you are considering dating someone you have to see on a regular basis. Think of The Platinum Rule.
