WATER SKIPPING


This is the first entry to my journal, I thought I'd start with something new, "water skipping". This is a new sport that is starting to become bigger in the southern states, wich is probably where it started(Redneck 4laugh ). Water skipping can be done with any small vehcle like an atv ect... but started out with snowmobiles. Yea this sounds like trouble already, right? twisted I see alot of people out at where I like to go mudding. there's usually some wild stuff out there already like monster trucks, dirtbikes, swampers and other things. All of sudden I hear something comming my way, it sounded like a jet-ski, but this pond wasn't deap enough for them, I look and see a snowmobile shredding across the water eek . Apparently, when you floor a snowmobile with big treads in one of it's higher gears, it has enough power to fly on top of the water. I thought it looked like fun, so I asked one of the guys if I could try. his name was matt, I knew him so he told me how. Warning for anybody who wants to try this, you can loose the ski like this burning_eyes !!! i got on and was having fun for a few minutes untill I go on the shallow side of the lake and forget something.
1.It's very shallow.(Duh)
2. there's an old boat under the water gonk !!!
I try to turn out of the way, but wait, a snowmobile can't turn sharp on water(once again Duh). Soooooooo, I hit the boat and go straight into the muky lake, head first. If you've ever been in muk, you know can't really get out if you half way in it. If I wasn't a free diver(go all freedivers blaugh ) I wouldn't have survived. At that time i was thinking two thing, one was "oh Sh*t!" the other thought i had was what would be a more painful death drowning or getting run over by a truck thrashing through the water. I held my breath for almost 3 minutes utill the people at the lake pulled me out. I have'nt gone skipping in that lake since.
