i'm not a person to hate so much, but ocassional i get pissed at hypocrites. i'm also not one to judge, but if someone is a hypocrite, they are not a person i'm going to think highly of!
hypocrite: (hip-uh-krit)
1. a person who pretends to have virtues, moral or religious beliefs, principles, etc., that he or she does not actually possess, esp. a person whose actions belie stated beliefs.
2. a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, esp. one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.
some people can be hypocritical once in a while, but it's people who are hypocrites every damn day of their life are the ones that sickens me.
i know this one girl. she claims she doesn't talk out of line, she claims she respects other, but she doesn't! like c'mon now! does she need glasses to look in the mirror? she should know what she does.
another example is some people who watch miyavi videos. they sit up their bashing miyavi for whatever reasons, but they are the same people watching all his vids and favoriting them (refering to youtube) like seriously, get a life.
i really get mad when parents act hypocritical. how can they tell you to do something but they don't do it. in some cases it's understandable, but in some, no.
i'll give a funny hypocritical moment to ease all the tenseness in my journal. simon cowell on american idol during the auditions was rubbing his nibbles, but telling a girl how she should break out of habbits. eek Wha??? he's habitually rubbing his itty bitty nibbies, but telling some girl to break out of habbits? huh. but it was funny to watch.
if you say something but do it too, own up to that. don't make it seem like you don't do what you preech. to me if you tell me i have a problem and you have the same one, say something like you're working on it too. that's makes you less of a hypocrite.
