A poem I wrote in 30 seconds.. xd
It's really about nothing..
My summer school teacher read it as a Holocaust related poem confused
Families torn apart
The screams of separated souls
Women, children and men,
Wandering like corpses.
Death lingers in the air
The scent of burning flesh
How many lives will end today?
How many will suffer tomorrow?
A see of dead faces
Walking empty vessels
Abandoning their faith
Just to live another day
A curtain of darkness falls
The column of smoke still visible
The innocent screaming, yearning, crying out,
Crying to a silent audience
The world lends a helping hand
But, already, it is too late
Is this truly,
An act of God?
