Should I be an emo emo or hippie cool for halloween?

Emos are fun because I can do the sad mumbly accent and I get to mess with black eyeliner and I get to say, "If chocolates are so sweet, why is love not even sweeter?" or something depressing like that. Plus I get to cover my left eye.

Hippies are also fun because I get to use all my colorful clothing and tie-dye and stuff, and I get to say, "Are these Mary-Jane brownies?" "Your jacket isn't real fur, is it?" "Dude, veggies have feelings too." "Peace and prosperty, dude." And I get to wear hippie shades.

Help meh!

I like drama. Maybe I'll be an actress after being a world-wide renown author and extremely talented artist.

Fine. I like it, but I suck.

Well hey, everyone likes vanilla caramel brownie ice cream, but nobody eats it often or wants to eat it all the friggin' time or else they'll get fat. So there.

That actually wasn't a good comparision.

Gosh, we're all so screwed up.

ANYWAYS, at drama we were supposed to give thirty second speeches about ourselves. This is basically how a normal person's went.

Hi, my name is Blah and So, and I lived here for such and such, I live with my mom, dad, etc.

I moved here from over there, and lived there for a few years. I have four pets named blah and blah.

I play soccer, stuff, sum and substance.

Hi, my name is Nori, and I lived here for almost a year now. I live with my mom, dad, and cat who looks like Garfield and won't stick to his diet.

I don't like people who steal other peoples' money, and the color pink.

I like writing, drawing, eating free samples but not buying anything, and freaking out my cat.

When I grow up I will sue someone famous and use the money to buy my own kingdom.

So, I told this to a few of my friends, because it is just too hi-laaariously funny. Do you want to know what it is?

I have rectangle glasses that look a little nerdish, and so apparently all of a sudden everyone assumes I consider plaid socks the height of fashion and I skipped ten grades in math. Note: I suck in math.

So, this guy came up to me on the first day of school.

Guy: "Wow! You dress normally, you don't dress nerdy at all! And you speak normally too!"
Me: "Wow! You have no brains, and you dress like a skaterguy crossed with a convict!"
Guy: "Oh, well, you're right..."


Gack. I don't know whether to be surprised he told the truth or steamed because I am a "cool nerd".

I really want to be an arsonist.

Prinston is for nerds, I'll just stay in my parents' basement.

I think coffee is bad for peoples' health.No more coffee!

Okay, after the airplane trip, things improved greatly. We arrived at my mom's side of the family, and everyone was thrilled to see me.

My very enthusiastic aunt: AAAAAAHH! ITS SO GOOD TO SEE YOOOOUUU!
Me: Yaaay! (she's one of my favoriate aunties)
*manages to snare me and dad together in group hug*
Me: It's-guck-aaack-great-to-neeeh-see-*dies of air shortage*
Dad: *immune to hug* Aw, its great to see you too!

After a lot of hugs, my aunt comments on me, gushing with aunty happiness.

M.V.E.A: Nori (not my real name) has grown much taller than last year!!!
Me: *takes this as a compliment* Thank you. smile
M.V.E.A: And you're not as shy as last time!
Me: *not sure if this is insult or not* Thanks.
M.V.E.A: And you've grown much much prettier than last time, thank goodness.
Me: *takes this as insult* Uh...yeah...

After clasping my hand tightly and bouncing to the car my aunt calls to my uncle.

Uncle: Why, hello Nori! So good to see you, you've grown so tall!
Me: Thanks, its good to see you too. *hug* What happened to your car?
*Car sits in corner, looking pretty and pimped*
Uncle: smile You like it? We bought a new one!
*Everyone except me jump around and do cartwheels*

Well, I'm gymnastically handicapped, so cartwheels just hurt me.
