Message: This is a time of year many look forward to. The lights, the sounds, the treats, the smells. And the balls. Perhaps most of all, people this year would miss the balls. It is the reason why you have found yourself in this grand room, normally lit with the bright crystal chandelier and filled with beautifully garbed guests. Tonight, it is only illuminated through the windows by the silvery light of the radiant moon and countless shimmering stars.
It is a sad moment. You had hoped that others might have come as you had, to create a festive time in place of the one that had failed to come. But they had not. You quickly brush off anything of upset, and a determined fire fills your eyes. You will enjoy this time of year. If it be by yourself, so be it.
With that in mind, you go to the center of the floor, and begin to dance. Perhaps it looks silly, dancing on your own, but you don't mind; there is no one there to see.
Or at least, that was your thought. You have only just begun your one person waltz when you hear footsteps on the hard floor. Your eyes snap open, and then you stop short. Standing in front of you is a silvery prince, one who could have been made from the very stars in the sky. He has a warm smile, and gentle grey eyes that tell you he means no harm. He bows, and offers a hand for you to take. You accept it. A moment later he sweeps you into his arms, and has resumed the dance you had begun. You close your eyes as he guides you through every turn, spin, and dip in such a rhythm that you could swear he was following music. If you listened long enough, you could almost swear your heard the melody as well.
You open your eyes once more as the dance slows to its conclusion. And in that moment, you are awestruck to find the room transformed. It is no longer dark and lonely, but filled with many shimmering stars, illuminating the ballroom in an intricate sparkling light. It is from them that, you realize, the soft melody is coming from. You look to the prince for an explanation, but he merely smiles once more, placing a kiss upon your forehead as he sets a small gift in your hand. It is warm and glowing like all the stars around you.
You turn to ask him about it, but all you find is stardust.

1. A vampire countess. She's a sentry and warden for her family. Quiet, and prefers actions to words. The oldest daughter, but not the heir due to preference and nature. Her younger sister, who is heir, has her full support and backing. Small, black star under the eye.

2. A pirate? A ninja? A hybrid of sorts. She also has a little black star tattoo under the eye not covered by the butterfly mask. Please feel free to change the shoes as you wish. She's first mate on board a pirate ship whose primary purpose is smuggling goods across international waters. They prefer speedy flight over confrontation because the pirate that flees is a pirate that lives.
Please feel free to change her shoes--this is best I could get from my meager shoe invo. :oops:

3. My desert nomad, who is a huntress for her clan. She's got a lot of rich browns with gold accents. Her bow is her pride and joy, crafted as her coming-of-age task and the tallest of all those wielded by the women. Also has a black star tattoo under one eye.

She's all blue-tinged whites, since her element is water/ice. The "wings" are an effect of her magic. She's wearing white gloves, because otherwise, her own ice magic could give her frost bite. With a spell to lighten the weight, she can also wield spear, glaive, and halberd, and is one of the few practitioners of magic who can combine her art with fighting forms. (Think Avatar, but with weaponry instead of martial arts)
If you'd prefer to draw longer hair, you can think of her's as a pony tail. Please put the star tattoo right under one of her eyes, or else high on her cheekbone. If you choose to draw the pixie, it's more a magical broach than a giant magical creature (like the Gaia item is described), pinning a light-blue cloak that's thrown over her shoulders, like the girl in my sig banner is wearing. No fangs, please! Other than her head, please feel free to change/simplify/remove her clothes and the other effects as much as you wish!
About her outfit, it's a blue-and-white striped vest over the modus operandi dress, like a corset. There's small puff-sleeves her shoulders that turn into long triangles that flare out, like those Renaissance gowns. There's a silver pocket watch at her waist. Ignore the ribbons on the sleeves. If the pose you choose shows her shoes, she wears white, point-toed boots that lace up in the front all the way to the top (like ice skates) and a small heel. Your choice whether to include the ruffles on the bottom of her dress or not.
Personality-wise, she's aloof, one cool cat. She prefers to watch people first, to get a better idea of their trustworthiness. She always appears to be laughing at a joke no one else knows. She's a classy lady who knows her worth as one of the few battle mages.

ZOMG, THIS is what I've been dying for all along. All (well, almost) of the beautiful art you've used in the past in wonderfully convenient wallpaper sizes.
The only way this could be better is if you labeled them with the artists' name (so I know who to stalk, yanno? *cough* redface )
Also, I don't know the exact demographics, but I, for one, am a total fangirl and Gaia lore is just RIFE with deliciously homoerotic overtones. Care to cater to our select niche? *waggles eyebrows* Nothing explicit of course, but there's a lot of hetero-pairings in the wallpapers not not much of the gay. I KNOW you guys aren't homophobes, not with Devin and his obvious crush on the Cash Shop's delivery guy. And hey, didn't you know? Bromance is THE thing this year. wink
Also, anthropomorphied Rufus was one of the hotest cat-bois I've ever had the fortune to see. Big art of him, besides the adorable kitty, would be wonderful for this fangirl.
One last question: will Rina EVER grow up? You've introduced the daughter of two shop keepers, but after the gorgeous, teenage Rina with her verrrry nice costume in this last year's Halloween event (which I also wouldn't mind getting some larger art of), she appears to have completely reverted to her usual tiny-breasted ( rofl ) self. Will she change? Or will she forever remain the little girl envious of all the other well-endowed female npcs with hilarious hearts-in-her-eyes infatuations with every new, bishounen character introduced?

No fangs please, and she's a butterfly ninja! I don't really like any of the current Gaia shoes for her feet, so whatever you feel fits would be great. Black gloves under the white, flowing sleeves. Under her lacy half-mask, under the corner of her eye is a black star tattoo. Her legs have a delicate, black tattoo on them. Her obi ties in the back in lacy butterfly wings. Scarf around her neck flies out in the side again like a butterfly wing. :XD

Swirly stuff up to you, but she also has a small black star tattoo under the eye (though not as low as the avatar makes it look) uncovered by the monocle and again, no fangs. Motorcyle gloves to improve grip on sword. Belt buckle peeking out under vest.
