I watched the movie Pan's Labyrinth a little while ago. My god, that was a good movie. Depressing as hell, but good.
I'm also rewatching all my Detective Conan movies again. I love them all~ Although I really should get the rest of them. XD Except I don't know if I could watch the ones without Kaitou Kid. I should get the other ones that have Heiji, though...because Heiji & Conan shenanigans are love.
I don't know if movie 11 will have Kid. I hope so. ;_;
I've rediscovered my love for raptor boys~

So today me and a friend went to see the FMA movie in East ********] Randolph. Unfortunately, due to heavier-than-expected traffic, we only saw the last 45 minutes or so. Now, I'd already seen it at Otakon, but my friend had missed part of it there, too. So we're seeing it again tomorrow.
I'm not a huge FMA fan--actually, I think it's a bit annoying and overhyped--but I do like the movie. The most surprising thing is that--Gasp!--the dubbing is very, very good. And this is coming from a hardcore dub-hater.
It could use some more Roy, though.

Befor I go, though, I watched a few episodes of The Tomorrow People (second series). Anyone remember that show on Nick? Because man, that show is...love. Campy as hell, but I adore it.

I downloaded old episodes of TMNT. Oh lord. rofl
I'm also getting old episodes of Conan the Adventurer, and a while ago I got the old X-Men cartoon. Long live the classic cartoons of the 80's and 90's, eh?
And I just watched a buttload of Detective Conan. Yet another classic show...that's still going strong in Japan. Over 10 years running; now THAT'S impressive. It's one of my favorite anime/manga^^. Along with Slayers, of course.
*starts grousing about the good old days*
...I do like some newer shows, though. Like Avatar. Man, Avatar is good. I've also got a weakness for Danny Phantom and Teen Titans.

Today I found a bullfrog in my pool. So I rescued him and took him to a conservation area to live out the rest of his froggy life.
There's a girl who's being quite obnoxious im my mertail petition thread...she quoted the sig post, despite the big DO NOT QUOTE THIS PAGE at the top of it. And, when I PMed her asking her to edit it--to give her a chance to fix it before I had to report it to the mods--she spammed my page TWICE with two MORE quotes of the sig page. So I PMed her AGAIN to ask her to edit her posts, and her response was that her computer was being "gay" and she couldn't be bothered.
So I'm reporting her AND refusing to add her name. rolleyes

It was high time to create a journal, and thus...I did.
Alright, so...stuff. I'm Feldspar (as you may have surmised). I'll be rambling on about things which may or may not be of little or no interest to anyone else.
First off--I'll be going to Otakon again this year. Anyone who's also going to be there can chime in, although it's certainly not a meeting invitation XD.
In Gaia related news, I'm thinking of entering this avatar into the AA, in yet another attempt to break into the top 10. My last entry finished--get this--14th overall. So close, and yet so far...
