OK, so I was looking at some advice from a guy who is actually in computer science and one piece of advice he gave was to write a lot because I'll have to write clearly for everyone to understand what I am talking about when I discuss programs, and because I will be writing plenty of papers and such. Part of the advice of writing a lot is to start a weblog or write in a journal, or at least something to that effect. So here I am typing away and explaining why you may be seeing more journals from me and possibly a story.

Though right now I will just update you on the latest happenings in my life. A couple days ago I de-carpeted the front porch. I was about halfway done when a neighbor came over and helped me finish which was very nice of him. The next day I couldnt move my wrist which sucked, but oh well. I'll just find a wrist gaurd or something for next time. The day after that I moved boxes from my room to the garage because I thought that my mom and some other people were going to put up dry wall in my room since it isnt finished yet. Well, the people didnt come over so I get to keep my room for the rest of the week, but I still have a few boxes in my room. Then on Saturday, I volunteered most of my day at church and helped scrape the chihpping paint off of the doorways, then re-painted. I spent over six hours at church painting and helping out. By the end of the day I was sunburnt and exhausted, but the church looks so much better now. On Sunday I had to be at church early because I was in the choir. (Yes I do sing) It was our last performance for the summer which was really sad. I believe we did beautifully. Afterwards we went to the fellowship hall and celebrated a couples 68th anniversary. Then this morning I got up, had a cup of coffee and watched "How Clean is Your House?" with my mom for an hour, then cleaned the kitchen. When my mom came into the kitchen after I was done, she asked "Is this the same kitchen? cause it looks so clean." I was really happy about that because it meant I did a good job.

As you can see, nothing computer related in the past couple of days. This is because every programming site I have been to so I can learn Java has not given me what I needed or not explained properly so I dont understand what they are talking about. I may push Java off to the side and try COBOL. If I cant find anything there, I will get out my HTML and CSS book again and start on that.

So, if you have any ideas on where I can find some good tutorials to teach Java and COBOL, please let me know. Also, if you have a random idea for a story, but cant seem to write it, I will do a collaborative project with you. I can write pretty well so I could write the story, let you read it, make any changes you want (for the most part), then you and I both can draw pictures for visual on the story. If you do give me an idea for a story, I will be putting everything I do up on DA and SA.
