Becoming a Vampire
In making my alternate account 'VeraLime' a vampire for the Haloween 07 event, I wrote a series of rather poetic, if slightly disturbing, posts.

Quote:
I would like very much to Join the Mighty Von Helson in his quest to reunite with his maligned son. A prescious un-life must not be allowed to slip away from such rich heritage and vast power.

Allow me to offer my services in removing the vile curse of humanity from this plane of existance.

Please. I long for the caress of darkness to soothe my soul...

I emplore you. Free my inner darkness from this fleshly form, that I might become a being of beauty and magnificence, more suited to the energies I feel boiling within me.

I can feel it beginning... the icy grip of death is creeping through my veins. aaah... that is what I seek! I yield myself to you, children of Von Helson! Feast on me, that I shall finally become one with my kindred!

Please, set me free!

My character in the Current Storyline (Edmund VS VonHelsing)
Poasted at What if YOU were in the storyline? What is your role?

If Lola1 could be in this storyline, she would be an ally to Edmund and his fellows.

She is not particularly overt among his soon to be legion of warriors, but she is most faithful to his cause and to him. She and he have been in correspondence since the troubles began for Ian, and she will never back down or give up unless her leaders gave her direct order. She maintains professional behavior and distance with Edmund, but is truely enamored with and growing to love the sophisticated, educated, warrior dream of a respectable gentleman.

Lola herself is well educated, punctual, and rather quiet. Her silence and polite old-world demeanor tends to cause others (especially Gambino Senior) to view her as stand-off-ish and cold. In reality, her personality is quite charming: rather light and even ornery. The weight of the tasks at hand are weighing heavily upon her, and she uses stanch personal protocols to dictate her behaviors in these times, attempting to prevent her addled emotions from causing some trouble or offense. As to her quietness, she thinks very carefully before she speaks, for the same reasons, but would love to have an occasion to speak freely around Mr. Gambino and allow her sharp tongue to cut him down a notch or two.

Lola also happens to be an accomplished warrior. She wields double swords, a long sword, Ice and Fire whips, a flaring Solar Staff, a blessed Angelic Staff with some (though weak) purifying abilities, and is skilled with a bow and arrow. She is also has a propensity towards the organization of people and data, which will hopefully... one day... be a help to Edmund. Lola’s personal pleasure is making music, which she does very well. Her voice is quite fine and powerful when her heart is in the song, and though her hands are small, she is skilled on the guitar (acoustic and electric).

If Edmund ever saw something more in Lola than a valuable ally, I do hope he would find himself as drawn to her as she is to him.

My BMM fanfiction. Episodes outline.
First Episode - “No Rest for the Wild Ones”
* Limburger is reinstated under poor standing from the Plutarkian high Council. Lord Camembert warns Limburger that this is his absolute last chance, and to ensure that he does not fail again, they will soon plant ANOTHER Plutarkian into the city to speed things up.
* Brie makes an appearance, testifying to Limburger’s incompetence.
* The biker mice are partying at the scoreboard with Charley, celebrating Limburger’s defeat. Each character has a short flashback, which highlights their fondest memories as they fought to stop Limburger. What the flashbacks actually do is highlight the important relationships and individual personality elements and events that the original story was built upon.
* The celebration is in full swing and Throttle gets ready to plug in an action movie, he turns on the television just in time for everyone to hear a bit of the news: “Local business tycoon Lawrence Limburger has pledged a large sum of money and resources to the city-wide ‘urban renewal project’ proposed by the Mayer earlier this afternoon. This citywide project will be the last proposed by our beloved Mayer, as he prepares to step down after the results of this week’s election are tallied. If approved by our new Mayer, urban restoration and redevelopment will begin immediately, under contract of Limburger Construction Enterprises.”
* The group can not believe their ears, and ride off, with Charley in tow, to barge into Limburger Tower to kick him all the way back to Plutark. Surprise, surprise however, the new Exterminator is activated to take care of the mice.
* Throttle and the gang chase and battle he and Greasepit and goons all through the streets before maneuvering the chase back inside Limburger tower. Throttle manages to melt this Exterminator too, this time in the vat of boiling oil in Karbunkle’s lab in which they and Hard Rock’s girlfriend Darla were almost fried (episode 12: Hardrock)
* On the way out, the mice blow up the building somehow. Limburger, however, is in some other building watching the wake of destruction. We hear him growl and curse the Biker mice before straightening his tie and chuckling, obviously thinking through some dastardly plan.

Second Episode
* As the mice are on their way to Charley’s shop the next morning, the buildings and street signs are all covered with announcements for the Mayoral election. The mice are almost blown off the road when what appears to be a candidate’s parade float suddenly adjusts itself, turning into tank kinda’ thing, and takes a shot at the trio, blowing a massive crater in the street. The mice maneuver and the float, manned by Limburger goons and followed by Greasepit give chase. Before finally causing the float to crash, there are several holes blown in the road. In battle, there is a pickup truck with stuff in the back that swerves and is spun around as the driver tries to stay out of the crater that just opened in front of them. Vinnie uses the trucks hood and some debris that piled in front of it as a ramp to jump the hole, and Throttle and Modo are right behind him.
* Shortly after reaching the garage, the trio meet one of Charley’s good friends and her new partner for the shop, Roxanna Virginia Lee, who was driving the pickup from the opening chase scene. She is initially terrified, then stunned, then surprisingly accepting to the mice, though she is furious to find out about the Plutarkians, and wants to know why America does not know about all this.
* Throttle, via “Martian mind tricks”, with interjections from Charley, gets to explain/show Roxy about the near destruction of Mars and the fact that no earthlings except Charley, Jack McCyber and a handful of others know about the war.
* After introductions and explanations, Charley flips on the television to hear the announcement of the election results: “In one of the rarest political events in Chicago’s sordid political history, a formerly unknown candidate has appeared and won the Mayoral election, penciled in on thousands of ballots. Our new Mayor is... Foucasha Formage!” The camera cuts to the candidate: a fat man with slicked hair in an overly stylish business suit. He grins strangely and addresses his city: “Ladies and Gentlemen of Chicago! I can not tell you how thrilled I am to have received such a generous outpouring of support, and I intend to show you all exactly what I think of this *ahem* fair city. For my first act as Mayor, I hear-by accept Mister Lawrence Limburger’s generous gift and offer all powers of my office to be at his disposal for the urban redevelopment of our city! Together with Limburger Enterprises, we citizens of Chicago will overcome the recent years of decay an PROSPER into a new GOLDEN AGE of Illinois history!” Everyone inside the Last chance garage smells something fishy, and head out to investigate. Charley rides her own bike with Roxanne on the back
* When they get settled for surveillance, they are dismayed to see that all the guards for the capital building are carrying high-powered Plutarkian weapons; they are nothing more than Limburger’s hired goons with badges.
* There is a battle and explosions. The mayor retreats to Limburger tower. The heros kick butt, and unmask the new Plutarkian mayor. Since they can’t blow up city hall, they take out the tower and go home happy.

Third Episode
* THIS SCENE CAN BE MOVED TO ANOTHER EPISODE, BUT NEEDS TO BE EARLY IN THE SERIES, LIKE RIGHT AFTER ROXANNE GETS SHOP SETUP: The first shot of the garage, we see Charley tweaking the motor of a Bike. Then, there is a shot of Roxanne detailing the gas tank and finders in a specially closed-off area. The mice are lounging around, trying not to be bored out of their skulls. Throttle is sitting in a chair, leaning backwards, precariously balanced on its back legs, and is throwing nuts and bolts at a bucket on the floor. Modo has his arm open and is working on it with a screwdriver. Vinnie is sitting on a work table, folding something. He looks up and flicks a paper football at Throttle, who wobbles before setting all four legs of his chair to the ground. He says some slight to Vinnie and throws a bolt at him, which Vinnie catches and says “You must have a screw loose bro,” as he tosses the bolt at the bucket... and misses. Modo laughs and takes his verbal shot at Vinnie, before tossing the hand tool right into the bucket from across the room. They all laugh as Roxanne comes out from behind the paint tent, pulling her mask down from her face. She reaches into the bucket, retrieves the tool and walks it back to Modo. Hands on her hips, she scolds him for abusing her tools. “Now, I know you don’t’ get away with using Charley’s tools that way...” She gives him a scolding school-teacher-esque look, before smiling big and bright and slapping the handle firmly back into his left hand, “And you won’t with mine either, OK?” “Yes Mam!” He teases, pulling his back stiff and saluting with the hand tool. Charley lifts up from the engine and pushes an unruly strand of hair behind her ear. “That should do it.” Turning her attention to the bucket, she throws a used-up sparkplug and it plunks in, dead center. “I’m famished!” “How would you guys like to get some takeout?” “Sweetheart, I’d looove to take you out. *eyebrow wiggle*” “-insert witty comeback from Charley-” Vinnie gets to finish the spoken competition with a final flirt, and tosses something into the bucket and finally makes it.
* Cut to Limburger stewing and scheming with the Mayor. They decide to begin steeling Earth’s water in secret by tapping into the great North American Aquifer.
* Cut to everyone revisiting Steinhower’s Hoagie Dogs (episode ?). Charley and trio have been showing Roxanne around town. The mice really enjoy getting to play tour guide for a change, instead of tourist. While everyone is there, they see a TV announcing the re-opening of Limburger Enterprise’s amusement park Cheesyland (episode 14, We’re Going to Cheesyland), but it is now a water park. Of course, they immediately know something is fishy and ride off to investigate.
* Classic Limburger-centric episode. Throughout the course of the action, we see arguments between Limburger and Formage.
* The mice save the day.

Fourth Episode – “Of Mice and Man” (title by Curtis Hansen)
* Jack McCyber shows up in the first minutes, delivering Roxy’s car and her dog Lucky.
* An Episode exploring the relationship between the Mice and Jack McCyber.
* Jack gets to wack on some goons with the Mice.
* Lets see Roxanne’s car in all it’s carefully detailed glory.

Comic book Substory
* Charley and Roxanne at Charley’s apartment after hours; the guys are already at the scoreboard.
* The girls are gabbing, watching a chick flick and eating popcorn. Naturally, talk turns to the mice. Roxanne breaches a delicate subject... is it normal to be attracted to an alien? “It’s not like I’m swooning or something, but I mean come on. They are big muscular testosterone factories. Please tell me I’m not the only one who has noticed?”
* Charley has a good laugh and assures Roxanne that she is not alone. Charley struggled with her own initial physiological reactions to them. It is apparently a natural reaction because, as Roxanne said, their bodies produce a lot of testosterone and other chemicals that human females are genetically wired to pickup on and respond to. Charley mentions that she wonders how the guys are effected by herself and Roxanne because their olfactory receptors are more sensitive than humans’s, so if the girls pickup on their virility, it seems logical that the same would be even worse in reverse. Plus, there is the issue that Martian males, for the most part, are built like human men, enough so that Charley has been able to consult Greys Anatomy for some of the mice’s more serious injuries.
* There is some discussion about behavioral patterns of the mice, how they also seem to fit human social roles: Vinnie is a flirt, Throttle is the untouchable charmer, and Modo is the big cuddly over-protective brother figure.
* Charley confesses that she has, on a rare occasions, actually had dreams about one of them, one in particular. Roxanne guesses Vinnie and Charley sheepishly admits. “Nothing for pay-per-view, believe me, but I think Martian/Human kissing qualifies as PG 13.” “Are you having dreams?” “No .” “Ahh, its daydreams then.” “NO! Please, it’s bad enough realizing that I’m attracted to aliens, I’m not going to make myself worse by indulging in fantasies.” “Good girl. Just think of how much that would complicate things.”
* The girls laugh it off and change the subject.
* Over at the scoreboard, the guys are watching Top Gun (or something). When the steamy bedroom scene plays, they all watch attentively, even Modo. Vinnie’s tongue practically hangs out. Throttle sits with his arms crossed, shaded eyes riveted to the screen. Modo is sitting on a chair (or crate maybe) with his arms on his knees, leaned forward.
* A commercial cuts the movie at the end of the scene, and everyone begins to move again. Vinnie makes a comment about that scene being almost as good as the dogfight scene later in the movie. Brief comments will follow from the others, basically stating that it is surprising how similar Human and Martian physiology and “customs” are. Vinnie may even go so far as to make a two-edged comment about Charley, which gets him verbally shredded by Modo, with support from Throttle. “That’s a dangerous line of thinkin’ bro.”

Fifth Episode
* Acid rain is falling on the city.
* There should be a “how to save your world,” reduce, reuse, recycle moment at the end of the episode.
* It is revealed that Formage is ultimately responsible for the acid rain, and Lord Camembert rips him a new one for it, because not even Plutark can use ruined resources.

Sixth Episode
* Crock.

Seventh Episode
* Someone or some group besides the Plutarkians will be the antagonist.
* The full capabilities of Roxy’s car are revealed.
* Show subtly reveals how important the girls are too the biker mice’s mission, and that they are quite capable of picking up the boy’s slack, then giving the battle back.
* The Mice are not the only ones to realize how important the girls are to their mission.

Comic book Substory
* Modo has become increasingly moody. Throttle and Vinnie just tell Charley and Roxanne to give him space, that he gets this way sometimes, and the best way to help him is to let him brood and get over it. They won’t tell the girls if they know what is wrong with him. He has been carrying on for over a week when...
* One night, Roxanne has a date with some random guy. The date is a bust because he is really only interested in being seen with a pretty girl and uses her to show off.
* On her way home, alone, she passes Modo’s bike in front of Steinhower’s and pays off her cab. When she goes in, she makes Modo eat something and reveals that she is very empathetic, and can tell that he is grieving for someone. She pulls out her brother’s dogtags and tells about losing him. Modo opens up a little bit and tells Roxanne about his wife, who was killed by a band of Rats. Roxanne listens until he’s finished telling the story, then moves over and gives him a big hug, and offers some magic encouragement that helps him feel a tiny bit better.
* Modo starts to shrug off his gloom and offers Roxanne a ride home. By the time they reach her appartment, he is laughing and smiling and the two are crooning to Georgie Brown.
* Modo walks her to her door and sees her safely inside. Driving home, he marvels to himself what a remarkable human she is.
* LATER: When Throttle and Vinnie find out that he told Roxanne about his wife, they just about flip out. It makes them reconsider how much they would be able to trust the girls if they would let themselves.

Eighth Episode
* The new Plutarkain, Foucasha Formage, makes his big move in Limburger’s face. He speaks to Lord Camembert and is permitted to usurp Limburger in this one task, making a play for dominance in the city after which one of the two (Formage or Limburger) will be sent back to Plutark in chains. Formage insists that the root of Limburger’s problem is that he is trying to work around the Biker Mice, when what he should have done in the first place was focus all his attention on eliminating them. He makes a great speech about how the quickest way to weaken an enemy is to cut off their supply line.
* Soon, our gang is heading towards the scoreboard for lunch, when they are attacked by goons and import-of-the-week Hound, who looks like a werewolf. Of course, the mice come out victorious, but Hound proves a formidable opponent. Some subtle event in the battle should be included that will tip-off astute audience members that Hound seems more interested in the women than the mice. Of course, none of the characters on the show notice this.
* Formage uses Limburger’s forces to make an attack against the Last Chance Garage. He has public support by claiming “Miss Davidson and her associates,” are running an drug laboratory. The “Police,” which are really goons in uniform, are called in mass to wage an all out battle. They are lead by Hound.
* Charley and Roxanne are, “of course,” left behind for the battle, the guys think. They are inside the building, and Charley is seen shooting some goons from an upstairs window (or the rooftop). The battle seems to be going fine, when suddenly the real objective is revealed.
* The sun is setting as the trio of mice meet up in the middle of the battlefield, apparently victorious. There are pieces of Goon-buggies strewn about and terrified/wounded goons are running away as quickly as possible. The guys all high five and start to crack wise, when Throttle realizes Hound was not in the battle. Why would Limburger bring in an expensive mercenary to destroy the garage, who was not even a part of the action? He must have another target! This was just a distraction; but what was he really after? “The Girls!” At that moment, we hear Charley scream.
* Cut to Roxanne on the bottom floor, who was opening an ammunition crate with a crow bar. Charley screams and Roxanne runs up the ladder to the second floor, while we hear the sounds of struggle and Charley orders someone to let go of her. There is a thwack!-ing sound, and Hound roars. Roxanne reaches the second floor just in time for Hound to whirl around and throw Charley at her. The two roll down the stairs and land in a disoriented heap on the garage floor. Lucky gets a good bite out of his hide before Hound throws the dog into a closet. Hound jumps to the floor below and crowds menacingly over the fallen females. Enter the Biker Mice!
* The Garage door is blown open and the four warriors charge inside on foot. Hound grabs both the girls under one arm and makes a dive for the fuze box. Throttle takes a shot and gets Hound in the chest as he yanks the box off the wall and the building is plunged into darkness. Fights in the dark follow quickly. We see Modo use his night vision to attack Hound and Roxanne gets free. She looks once around the room, grabs one of Vinnie’s lit flairs, then makes her way to what is left of the fuze box. The lights blaze on and we see Hound surrounded by the heroes with Charley ripping hand-fulls of hair from his back. He howls, grabs Charley and throws her right into Vinnie, who lands on his posterior with Charley sprawling in his lap. Hound finally comes down with a nuke-knuck punch from Throttle.
* While everything turns out alright in the end and Hound is sent back to the tower shaved like a poodle with a big bow on his head, everyone is a bit shaken. They were too accustomed to Limburger’s former, lackluster attempts to stop them. As much as they hated to admit it, they were not prepared for such a vicious and calculated attack. Clearly, the stakes have been raised.
* Formage is called back to Plutark and a human, non-corrupt, vice mayor steps into his position in City Hall.
* (After this point, the guys try to become over-protective, especially Modo.)

Ninth Episode
* Limburger and Brie team up and host a car and motorcycle show.
* Roxy enters her car.
* Two Martian bikes are unveiled at the show.
* The Chicago trio meets a duo sent to Detroit to spy on Brie and get in touch with Throttle and co.
* The trio and duo must stop the dastardly plan of Limburger and Brie (what ever it is). The audience gets to see the two Martian teams work together, resulting in twice the explosions and double the daring attack moves. Roxanne and Charley do not play a significant part in the action (maybe panicked crowed control).
* At the show, Roxanne gets to talk to her old friend Vic (or what ever name Vigilant_Taryn chooses for herself) for a brief moment and introduce her to Charley. The mice see the encounter from a safe distance and do not get to talk to her (yet). Also, Vic is in her racing gear and wearing her helmet (with mask up but facing the Roxanne and Charley), so the boys do not have any inkling she is a she. They really do not pay much attention to her at all, because Charley and Roxanne are both talking to a lot of people they know. This scene will be in the background, but astute watchers/readers will notice.

Comicbook Substory
* Trio and girls stay in Detroit because Vinnie wants to compete in a race the next day.
* At said race Rosanne sees that Vic is entered and warns Vinnie that he is going to have a run for his money. She points Vic out to Vinnie so he can see his main competition. Vic is again wearing full racing clothes and her helmet, taking a practice lap of the course, so there is no evidence to suggest she is female.
* As for Vinnie’s appearance, to keep from questions being asked, Charley makes Vinnie wear a long-sleeved racing jacket and makes him promise to keep his helmet on the whole time he is racing and in the winner’s circle.
* At the starting line, Vic and Vinnie happen to be side by side. They look at each other and Vic gives a quick wave and salute before pointing herself forward just as the light turns green and she guns it. Vinnie crows and takes off hot.
* Vinnie and Vic are neck and neck for the finish line, but I think Vinnie gets over confident and does not pay as much attention to his opponent as he should. At the last second, Vic hits the gas and in a burst of brilliant speed, with sparks flying, she blasts past and takes the win.
* Vinnie is mortified at himself and angry/in awe of the driver that just defeated him. Once all are off bikes, he storms up to her, about to ask where she learned that or how she did that, when Vic pulls off her helmet. Vinnie stops dead in his tracks and his jaw hits the ground. “Da da-da, da-da, da-da. Hubba hubba.”
* While Vinnie is stuck in his tracks, Roxanne runs up to Vic cheering, hugging and high-five’ing. Charley comes up beside Vinnie to console him, but when she sees his face, she stamps on his foot.
* On the winner’s platform, Vic (who has taken off her jacket), Vinnie and some other guy are all in their respective places. Cameras start flashing, when Vic glances over and notices Vinnie’s tail sticking out from under the back of his jacket. She leans over and warns, “Dude, your tail.” then stands up straight and looks back at the cameras. Vinnie whips his head around, startled, while his tail snakes back up into his jacket. From the sidelines, Modo+Throttle and Charley+Roxanne saw the whole thing and look at each other with Oh-God expressions.
* While the Chicago group is packing up, Vic comes over and gets some answers. Vic meets the Biker Mice from Mars.

Tenth Episode
* Our trio raids Limburger tower and steels a communications satellite control and communicator.
* Throttle gets through to Mars and talks to Stoker and Carbine.

Eleventh Episode
* Limburger imports galactic police that represent the old-school Mighty Morphing Power Rangers to stop the mice.
* The yellow ranger is the only girl. The pink ranger is a guy. Really he is the white ranger, but he accidently washed his uniform with the red ranger’s.
* We see Charley and Roxy working on what is left of the Thunderpipe with one of the Detroit mice. The Chicago boys expect to be done quickly, but it becomes clear that it is going to take some time and high-dollar supplies.

Comic book Substory
* Roxanne has a date with a guy that seems nice enough, but something about him is suspicious to the mice and Charley (and so, to the reader also). Modo decides to tail them and watch. Throttle and Vinnie start to talk him out of it, but Modo insists it is the rite thing to do. It’s common on Mars for a big brother to sit chaperone his little sister’s first date with a guy, and who else was around to watch over her?
* The date progresses through dinner (outside on a patio) and onto dancing. Roxanne’s escort is holding doors, flirting, being attentive... all that usual jazz, and Modo begins to think he might have misjudged the man, when Roxanne and her date leave the club.
* They have a bit of a walk back to the car, and as they walk, the man slips his arm around Roxanne’s shoulders. Modo starts to get riled up. The man’s hand slips lower, to her waist, and gradually down her hip when Roxanne steps out of his reach. She pushes his arm back to his side and links her arm in his. “Good girl, Roxy.”
* The two reach the car. It’s a little too shadowy for comfort. Roxanne waits beside her door for him to open it. He reaches, it appears, for the door handle but, instead, puts his hand on the doorjamb next to Roxanne’s shoulder. He begins to crowd her against the car and she steps sideways, only to bump into his other arm, blocking her exit. He demands a kiss. There are undertones of panic in her voice as she refuses and puts her arms up, pushing him away as he leans in. His voice becomes more forceful as he demands again. Roxanne refuses again, and he begins to press his body against hers. Modo is red eyed and ready to jump off the roof and launch himself at the guy when...
* Roxanne knees him in the groin and he stumbles away from her. Her voice is stern and fearless, and she glares at him as she rebukes him. “How dare you pull that aggressive crap on me! I told you to back off.” The man manages to stand up straight again while she continues. “This date is over *insert name*; I’ll find my own way home. Don’t call me again.”
* She begins to walk away from the car, but he grabs her arm. She lets out a yelp as he squeezes and yanks her back, getting rite up next to her, hissing something nasty into her ear. She pivots as she swings her free fist at his face, but he ducks and manages to get his other arm around her. She begins to scream, but slaps his hand over her mouth before the sound escapes. She is scratching and clawing at him, but he keeps on her as he uses his body weight to make her stumble backwards a few feet until they disappear into the shadowed mouth of the alley. When he crowds her against a wall, the bump jars his hands loose, and she manages a scream as she struggles to break from his grasp. He covers her mouth with his own and the sound is stifled. She bites his lip hard and blood runs down her chin. He pulls back with a curse as one hand flies to her neck. He slaps her hard across the face and calls her a little b***h. She is turning red from lack of air, and is clawing at his hand on her neck as he moves his other hand down to the hem of her skirt as he begins to tell her what he’s going to do.
* Suddenly, a single headlight beams from inside the alley and we hear a growl. The man looks up and Modo, eye glowing, launches himself into the pervert. Roxanne plops to the ground gasping for air as Modo’s tackle lands the guy on his side and Modo on top. He flattens the guy on his back and punches him in the face. Modo is not checking his strength, so we hear the mans jaw bone and teeth breaking with the force. Modo pulls back his fist, saying something to the extent of ‘you ******** rat!’. Roxanne lunges at Modo and grabs his fist before he can let it fly. “Modo no! Don’t kill him!” Modo looks at her with death vengeance written on his face, but she insists “He’s not worth it. You’d regret it ” Modo growls as he looks back at the bleeding man and grabs him by the lapels of his jacket, pulling the man into his face. “If you ever come near her again it’ll be the last thing you ever do.” He stands up and watches the man scramble away and his car squeal out of sight.
* He turns to Roxanne. “Miss Roxy, are you all right?” Roxanne moves forward and falls into him with a sob as he instinctively wraps his arms around her. “It’s okay Miss Roxy; I’ve got’cha.” “Oh God. Modo *sob* Oh Modo, I...” “Shhh, it’s okay Roxanne. You’re okay.” She shivers and sobs in his embrace for several minutes until she can get herself under control. Lil’ Hoss sidles up next to her and beeps with concern. Roxanne lets out a little gasp of a chuckle and turns (and Modo moves his arms) to pat the bike on it’s head piece. To the bike: “Thanks sweety. You got here just in time.” Turning back to look up into Modo’s face: “Thank you Modo. I don’t know what I would have done if you hadn’t been here. I hate to think... He was...I...” She shivers. Sobs threaten again, but she chokes them back and instead wraps her arms as much around Modo’s midsection as she can. She whispers: “Thank you”. He puts one arm on her back and rests the other one on her head. Modo looks down on her. He begins petting her hair, but when he realizes it he stops and clears his throat. “Would you like me to take you home, Miss Roxanne?” “*Sniffle* Yeah... Uh... no. Oh Modo, please, I don’t feel like being by myself rite now, but I really don’t want to haveto explain all this to the others tonight. Do you think we could get some coffee or something?” Modo straddles his bike and reaches out a hand to her.” “Anything you want Miss Roxy. I’ll take care of you.”
* After a good sugary coffee and a lot of laughs, the trauma of the night is almost forgotten, and Roxanne and Modo have a great time. He takes her home, laughing and singing all the way. As he walks her to her door, though, strange thoughts begin bubbling to the surface of his mind. Unbeknownst to him, similar sensations have been simmering just below Roxanne’s surface. Neither of them let on though and both go their separate ways with their simultaneous thoughts.
* After they arrived at her apartment, Mousey stayed a second longer on the back of his bike. They finished laughing and she got off. There was a gentle silence for a moment. Roxy was glowing as she smiled, and Modo had a big, contented grin looking down at her. The silence lingered... a bit too long... something was definitely strange between them...
* Suddenly there was a crash, as a guitar went sailing through a window onto the lawn. It was followed to the window by a rocker’s head and his lament, “My guitar!” *he turned around and the pair heard his rants fading inside* “I told you the coffee table wasn’t a good solo platform! Blah, blah, blah...!”
* Mousey just shook her head and laughed, “That’s Eddy for ya; another late night band practice.”
* Modo chuckled deeply and said, “Come on miss Roxy; Let me see ya to your door.”
* She started up the stairs, with Modo following, “Always the gentleman, aren’t you Modo.”
* “My dear old, grey furred momma’d be mad if I let a lady go home unescorted.”
* They continued up without talking. Modo was thinking to himself, “Roxy is quite a lady...She and Charley are always trying to watch out for me and my bros... I like havin’ her around... she’s cute too, for a human...she really is nice to look at... look at the way she moves...the way she’s movin’...those legs...that ‘tail’... –WHAT!?!
* Modo suddenly caught his own thoughts and was mortified, shocked by his own gall, and mentally slapped himself. Her words echoed in his mind, mocking him, “always the gentleman, aren’t you...
* As they reached the landing and her front door, he stepped back, trying not to look as guilty as he felt. She unlocked the door and flipped on the light, landing her shoulder wrap and handbag on the couch with a practiced toss.
* She peered inside and turned to Modo, “All clear, no Plutarkians about.” She teased, but he didn’t quite hear what she was saying...
* The light from the doorway was streaming out behind her, casting a corona around her entire figure. Her silhouette was tinted with the dark shades of night, but her eyes seemed as bright as the light around her as they glittered in her shadowed face.
* Poor Modo was stone. He couldn’t think about moving, or talking... or even breathing. He would never have imagined that a human could look so stunning, so unreal and lovely. And she was close enough to touch...
* “...close enough to touch... rite in front of me... talking to me! I have to answer! Oh momma, what was she saying?!” He suddenly came back to himself as she shifted her feet and waved a hand between them.
* “Hello? Earth to Martian... What is it big guy?” she asked, twisting around to see behind herself, then returning, “Is there something wrong?
* “What on Mars is wrong with me?” “Eruhh, No miss Roxanne, mam.” he fumbled, “My eye was just playin’ tricks on me again. It took a second to adjust to all the light.”
* “Oh, I didn’t even think! I’m sorry Modo.” She reached out and pulled the door nearly closed. The glow receded around her, but her eyes persisted to shine.
* “Thank you, again, for seeing me home. I guess my evening wasn’t a total disaster after all.”
* “That b*****d... I forgot!” The thought brought him back to the surface.
* He clinched his fists at his side, “That animal doesn’t deserve to live another day after what he tried. If I ever catch him bothern’ you again, I’m gonna--”
* “Woh there, Modo! He wouldn’t dare come within ten feet of me now; not after what you did to him.” For a moment, she paused. “I really can’t thank you enough Modo.”
* “No one should treat a lady that way, especially not you miss Roxy mam.”
* She smiled, blushing. “What would I do without overprotective friends like you? But then you always watch out for ladies, don’t you.”
* He looked down at his boots and shifted his feet like a little boy. After the roads his thoughts had been racing down, he didn’t feel like he deserved quite so much praise as she was giving him.
* She spoke again, her voice, suddenly, very soft “Your momma raised you right Modo.”
* Roxanne stepped forward, and Modo raised his head just in time to take her hug. She reached up and wrapped her arms around his neck. He bent down lower and she fell lightly against him, letting her arms twist further around.
* He wanted so badly to hug her too. She probably expected him to... but it wouldn’t be right. She was hugging her bro who was watching out for her, but he didn’t feel much like her bro rite then. He could feel her heart faintly beating through their chests... “...her soft chest... her arms are so smooth...how strange she feels without fir... she smells so good...– she’s letting go!
* Modo blinked and raised up to full height as her arms lifted off his shoulders. Roxy’s face was turned away. She turned her back to him and opened the door a bit more. His eye was riveted to her, and he was suddenly very glad that he had not touched her: the dress was backless... all the way to her waist! He watched her small, smooth muscles ripple as she paused mid motion thorough the door. She started to turn around and he tore his gaze away. “Be cool man!” his brain screamed, and he wiped the daze off his face, flashing a snaggle-toothed smile.
* He thought for a moment that she looked different... her eyes were still so bright, but they looked heavy, and her face was so focused... “She must be tired...” He wondered suddenly about the time. How long had he been at the top of the stairs?
* When she smiled at him again, the weariness faded, but something behind her eyes remained supremely intense.
* “Good night Modo!” She chimed happily. “Thanks’ again for bringing me home. You need to head back. It’s almost midnight.”
* “Right. I’ll get goin’ miss Roxy. See ya tomorrow?”
* “Soon as you three biker bums roll into the garage.”
* “G’night, mam.”
* “Night, Modo.” And she closed the door between them.
* He stood there, listening to her fasten the locks. He didn’t want to leave. “What has come over me? How could I be thinkn’ those things about Roxy...she’s like one of my bros...but she is so different...so sweet... Come on Modo, just forget about all this. Go home and sleep...you won’t feel so strange in the mornin’.
* So, as quietly as a biker mouse can, Modo went down to the street and took off for the scoreboard, trying too hard not to think about his last passenger.

***

* Roxanne retreated inside and fastened the door against the strange night. She leaned back against the door, wondering if he was still standing there. “What is the matter with you girl! Can’t you curb your imagination for five minutes!” Those last few minutes flashed through her mind... Walking up the stairs, wondering if he would pull his big brother routine and scold her for the way she was twisting her hips, showing off her “flirty” walk... the intense, distant look in his eyes as the light from her door lit up his figure–his shirtless figure... how special she felt that he was there to defend her honor, and how it warmed her heart when he called her a lady... how cute he looked when he was embarrassed... the shiver that suddenly ran through her when he simply looked at her...
* What was wrong when she tried to hug him? Why had she tried to hug him? “I’ve hugged Modo before... yah, but not like that... not longing to be held... not letting our bodies touch... Am I that lonely?... that desperate for attention that I’d imagine...something... for Modo? For a giant, alien mouse!... for my friend... for my bro... for the only guy that has watched out for me since– Stop this!
* Roxy started towards her room. *sigh* “Oh Modo... what in the world is wrong with me? I’m sure glad that you can’t read my mind...at least, that you didn’t.” She snickered, remembering his antennae. “I’m sorry Modo. I’m sorry and I couldn’t tell you if I wanted to, because you would have no clue why.– I just need to let it go. Nothing happened... I’m the only one who knows what a goober I’ve been tonight! It’s all in my mind... just forget it...
* Roxanne’s sleep was filled with dreams replaying that scene over and over, all through the night.

Twelfth Episode
* ???

Thirteenth Episode
* Stoker comes to town! He brings some parts for the Thunderpipe and news from Mars.
* Rimfire comes too.
* Maybe Carbine? If she can get away from military duties for a bit. If carbine comes, she only stays for one episode, then takes the ship back to Mars. Rimfire may or may-not go back too, but I know Stoker will stay.
* Perhaps Rimfire will be sent to Detroit to check up on the progress there.

Fourteenth Episode
* Halloween Episode.
* Limburger imports a pair of alien partners to make the people flee the city and raze the whole town. One creature is imported who has the ability to shape shift and gets a rush from making people afraid. The other is Hound again. He has his own agenda of grudges to settle.

Fifteenth Episode - (plot concept by Curtis Hansen)
* Dark future
* As soon as the flight test of the spaceship is completed, the mice are going to Limburger tower to capture fish face once and for all and deliver him to Mars for trial.
* The mice draw straws and Throttle and Vinnie pilot/copilot the ship. Charley goes along to fix any mechanical problems that arise and Stoker, Modo and Roxanne are left behind with Jack McCyber at mission control.
* Test flight + anomaly = travel to future, where Earth is toast.
* Modo is only survivor from Chicago and leading small band of freedom fighters.
* He warns his bros from the past about what Limburger is about to do... that the day they took the space flight, Limburger finds out and manages to destroy the garage in their absence. Modo and Roxanne hold up at the scoreboard and pray for their return while planning a counter attack. Limburger immediately begins tearing up the city and Carbine, on Mars, tells Modo and Roxanne about an intercepted message between Lord Camembert and Limburger that details the first landing of Plutarkian foot soldiers and the reveal of themselves to Earth. It is imperative that Limburger is destroyed, but they do not succeed. That day, Plutarkians seize governments all over the world and the invasion begins.
* He must also tell them that Roxanne was killed and Jack McCyber was taken prisoner and, while there are intercepted reports that he is alive, he has not been seen in months.
* Charley from the past works with the few remaining freedom fighters (Vic is among them) to figure out how to get back to the past. Ultimately, they realize they need Jack McCyber’s brilliant mind to help them.
* Future Modo leads Throttle and Vinnie in the attack to rescue Jack. Despite extremely improved security at the Limburger Fortress, the usual Plutarkian tendency to overlook minor problems allows the mice to sneak into Karbunkle’s lab, where McCyber was being held. When they find him, he is severely disfigured (maybe brain in a jar?). Karbunkle is now in an electric wheel chair with many metal arms.
* They rescue what is left of Jack and fight their way out. With Jack’s help, they are able to identify and exploit the anomaly that sent them forward in time and travel back.
* Before they leave, Modo should emphasize to someone how important it is to him that they keep Roxanne safe. (He may give Charley a letter to deliver to his past self, telling him that he realized, too late, that he loved Roxanne, but she died before he found the strength to tell her. Modo urges himself to evaluate his feelings now, and for God’s sake, keep her safe.)
* They return just in time to prevent the destruction of the garage and prepare to launch the attack to capture Limburger before he is able to complete his plans for the invasion.

Sixteenth Episode
* The Mice take down Limburger once and for all, and prepare to deliver him to Mars for trial.
* Charley and Roxanne insist on going with them.

Comicbook Substory
* It might be worthwhile to give each character a little bit focus and delve into what everyone is thinking.
* Plus, I can see funny little situations arising: There is only one bathroom, etc.

Episode Seventeen – Nineteen
* Everyone arrives on Mars.
* Limburger is sentenced to life imprisonment on a former Plutarkian prison moon now under Martian control.
* Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie want to help in a hopeless and utterly stupid battle that is about to be waged against the Rats who are trying to take all of Mars.
* Charley helps supe-up the Martian military vehicles.

* Throttle, Modo, Vinnie and Carbine all tell the other Martian generals that they are crazy, but are still determined to fight their suicide battle.
* Roxanne approaches the Generals, quietly, with a plan of her own... which they accept and allow her to implement. No one is to tell her Martian friends, but Carbine was in on the meeting, so she slips word to Throttle who raves against the plan, but ultimately volunteers to help.

* Charley finishes supeing up the Martian military machines and it gives them an edge.
* Roxanne dons risque clothes and prepares for her mission. She is spotted by Vinnie and Modo. Throttle tells them about the secret plan and they are furious, but Roxanne is determined to follow through. Throttle rides off with Roxanne to get her into position. (If Modo gave Charley that letter, this is the best place for him to read it.)
* The war party heads out, with Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie out in front.
* Meanwhile, Roxanne’s plan works. She gets wounded, but is rescued just in the nick-of-time by Rimfire.
* In-rout to the home front, she passes Charley at an emergency station that is on the edge of the battle, frantically working on damaged machines.
* Rimfire drops Roxanne off at the M.A.S.H. for treatment, but she instead jumps into first aid and prep of the other wounded, her own injuries being minor.
* When the battle ends, Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie return with the others. They are scratched up, but are mostly whole, and all the younger soldiers are talking about their exploits in the battle. They ask Rimfire and Stoker where the girls are. Charley is still out in the field where there are lingering skirmishes going on and Roxanne was taken to the M.A.S.H.
* Throttle and Vinnie race away to retrieve Charley from harms way. When they get there, she is hunkered down with some others behind a stalled tank with a wrench in one hand and a laser rifle next to her. Vinnie climbs up into the tank and uses the gun to stop the skirmish.
* The moment Rimfire tells them Roxanne was injured, Modo rushes to the M.A.S.H. to see what happened. He finds her all scrubbed up and working frantically on his comrades. He pulls her out of the line by showing her his minor injuries, which she dresses. When she takes off her rubber gloves, he notices that she is pretty banged up and makes her sit still long enough for him attend her. Insert kiss or near-kiss here.

* At the end: The mice and the girls are loading the last of Charley and Roxanne’s Martian shopping spree on the ship and making final preparations to return them to Earth. Carbine, Stoker and Rimfire all come to say their goodbys to the girls and wish the trio a safe journey there and back. Carbine presents military metals to Charley and Roxanne, with personal apologies that the military heads are too chicken-s**t to publicly acknowledge that aliens provided crucial help in the last battle against the rats. Both the girls shrug it off, verbalizing that their motivations had nothing to do with gaining recognition, they were just taking a lesson from their own war heros, the biker mice from mars.
* Charley and Roxanne kiss Rimfire on the cheek at the same time, and he blushes profusely, effecting hearty guffaws from everyone in attendance... till they do the same to Stoker and he crows.

Twentieth Episode (may be comicbook only)
* Since Chicago is, at last, assuredly free of Limburger and there is an in-progress Earthwide containment of the Plutarkian situation (by other small bands of Mice and Men), there is no reason... or excuse... for our beloved bros to stay on Earth any longer. All three recognize this, so when they were asked by leaders of the Martian army to come home and be a part of the long road to complete freedom and restoration that lies ahead, they all agreed.
* The mice have returned to Earth to take the girls home (and convince themselves that both are tucked away into nice, safe little lives). They stay for one week to settle things and let go of their surrogate home. During this week...
* Throttle is, as always, contemplative and a little too quiet until someone presses him to spill his mind. He is in an uncomfortable, but exciting contemplation of what his life might be like now, after he is back on Mars... back with the war... back with Carbine... so many things to fill his never-resting mind. At the same time, he is almost heartsick to leave... he finally has a "family" here, with the girls and his bros. It was only in the last six months that he started to appreciate the six of them together, as one group. Now he had to abandon the ladies that were part of the closest thing to a family as he had come since the invasion of Mars. He doesn't want to tear them out of his life... his bros' lives. Plus, there are so many wonderful things about Earth that he never wants to forget, but fears he will. He is excited to return home, but he is aching to stay.
* Charley and Vinnie finally have it out and both say, basically, "yah, I kinda love ya, and I think I always will. Thanks for bein' a bright spot in my life. Go get'em tiger." On the day they leave, Vinnie will actually acknowledge Jack McCyber's unusual friendship and tells him "You keep an eye on those girls. You watch her back, or else!" And we might finally get to see he and Charley kiss. Just once... or twice...
* Modo and Mousey, having barred their terrified hearts to each other on Mars, are in an awkward position. For lack of any clue how to handle the situation, Roxanne forces herself to act like she always has, and Modo goes along. Meanwhile, both are seeing everything the other does with new eyes and their minds are racing around in a million directions as they ponder for seven days what they ignored for more than a year! It drives Modo crazy.
* Their last night on Earth, after the root beer-chugging, room-trashing, speaker-blowing going away party the girls throw at the scoreboard, Roxy shoves the 10 or so bags of garbage in the dumpster and heads for her apartment, and Vinnie takes Charley home. Modo is still reeling inside about Roxanne, and hated the sad look in her eyes tonight.... he keeps dwelling on his thoughts, silently, for about an hour. Finally, he can't stand it any more and takes off for a meandering ride.
* Modo tells Lil Hoss to just wonder the highways for a while, but even Lil Hoss wants to be around her... and he ends up rite in front of Roxanne's apartment at the same time that Roxy is mounting her own bike. She was all dolled up and on her way to the scoreboard.
* [Think of the song I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith]
* They spend the night in each others arms (no sex). They kiss and hold onto each other like the end of the words is on its way. They share tears and dreams and blended their minds, sharing things that no one but true loves should ever know...
* When the morning finally came, they woke up to warm, golden sunlight shining in onto Roxy's bed, and they were wrapped so tightly around each other that no force on Earth or Mars could have torn them apart... except the signal of the hailing beacon on Modo's bike in the living room (yes, the living room sweatdrop ). Modo headed back to the scoreboard to finish final preparations before launch, and Roxanne sat an cried.
* By launch time, Charley, Jack, and Roxanne were all there to see them off. Roxy knew Modo wouldn't kiss her again and give away the wonderful night they had shared, but she wished they could just one last time. In the end, he laid his massive hands on her shoulders, leaned down and kissed her forehead... but he apparently forgot to let go of her shoulders... he just stood there, staring at her sad, blushing face... until she finally threw her arms around his neck and hugged him as tightly as she could, then let go and dropped the few inches back to the ground. She stepped back next to Charley and watched with her only friends on the planet as the sky carried her bros away.

But then, they come back! . . .

Random Pirate character's Quest...
Here is a random story idea chunk for one of my less developed characters, Rebeka.

Poasted in a series of six messages on Friday, November 26, 2004 at http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4558878&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=330

Rebeka waited untill it was dark before going out. She spent her day in the crows nest, taking in the sun and watching her newfound compatriots wreking the town. She watched Choc and his wonderful new chocobo get to know each other. And she watched as the sun set over the glorious sea. Yes, her heart would always be with her home in the mountains, but she would always love the deep beauty of the sea.

After dark, she slipped off and into the trees around town, avioding the night patrols... who were antsy and on full alert after the day's intrusion by pirates... The traiders she was looking for would not welcome a squad of armed officers coming with her...

Rebeka must have looked strange, staring at the corner stones of the buildings... but she was looking for something....

Finally she found the mark. The start of the night trail. She folowed it from building to building... to tree to tree... expertly reading the signs with practiced hands. It was amazing how a scratch here and a smudg there would go unnoticed to most people...

Finally she found the small apartment ware the trail ended. She knocked a code on the door.... nothing. She tried another... nothing. Now, she drew her dagger and knocked a third...
"just open the **** door!" screamed a voice from inside.

Slowly, she opened the door and looked inside. A hooded figure sat in a chair with a small cloth roll in its lap (much like her own). She bowed low and whispered,
"I need Widdows Thorn. Do you have what I desire?"

The voice hissed... I have all you could wish for... the question is, beautiful one, do you have the price?"

Rebeka didn't like this guy.

Still holding her dagger within her sleve,
"What is your price?"

"I want the pearl."

Rebeka: "How am I to get a dark water pearl! No human can dive in that water, even if It were not leagues deep! I need that herb now! Will you not make a reasonable trade?"

Figure: "There are other things I desire... though I doubt you would care to know what they are..." It seemed that the shaddows under the hood twisted into a grin...

Rebeka, unshaken:
"I know many things you may desire and you are correct. I would not pay that price. How is it that you know I am headed for darkwater? "

Figure: "Word travels fast in the shaddows, you know that my dear."

Rebeka: "I am not your dear... Very well then, If I am to gain that pearl, I will need some way to reach it."

Figure: "Ahhh, I have what you will need." the figure moves to a chest and pulls out a lenght of cloth. "cover yourself in this and the darkwater will not touch your skin. All you will need to worry about is holding your beath." Again, the shaddows grinned.

Rebeka:
"If this works, then why have you not gotten one yourself?"

Figure: "Why should I when there is someone else to cheat death for me? I touched death once, I do not wish visit again."

Rebeka began to understand... almost sympathize with the horrible man before her. His life was not always so dark... poor creature. Now more sweetly, almost gently,
"Thankyou sir for this trade. I will get you your pearl, God willing. But, I am not a fool. I will need more assurence of the Widdows Thorn before we agree."

Figure: "Wise." The figure moved to a self and removed a blue vessel. He placed it on a table for her to look into. there she found not only many twistd vines, laden with the life-giving thorns, but a plant growing up from the roots! A limitless supply of the cure she saught.

Rebeka:
"Send with me now the other healing herbs I will need for this journey, and the cloth... and I will bring you the pearl and take the Widdows Thorn."

Figure: "No. I will give you a cut of the plant, but not the roots. They are priceless."

Rebeka: "If you will not give me the plant, we have not deal... How about this, take a cutting from the roots and grow a second sprout for me. But I will keep the pearl if it is not healthy and genuine. Deal?"

The shaddows behind the hood stared at her face... she was smileing. "Agreed." He took her extended hand with his own and Rebeka fully understood the man's misfortune. His arm was covered with the scars of the plague she was seeking to end.

After an hour more of wheeling and dealing for her other herbs. Rebeka left with the cloth and a new burdon weighing on her mind. She had to get that pearl... or die trying.

(It was not untill weeks later, after the pirate ship was long gone, that the old apothcary found the small brown powder and the note.:

"Brother of shaddow,
Mix this powder with mineral water and bandage your plague scars with it. Your skin will be new. I have touched death's same hand that torments you, and I cheat him when ever possible.

Safety and Shaddow,
Beautiful One"
