I think things between my mother and I would be a lot better if only she didn't try to hold me to standards she didn't let me know about.
One of my biggest pet peeves is getting in trouble for breaking rules that didn't exist until I broke them. I guess I'd be alright with it if I deserved to be in trouble because I'd been out drinking or smoking or having sex or something else that Parents find horrifying. But no. I was playing card games and drinking Dr. Pepper.
I guess next time I should drink diet?
