The homecoming parade is today, and i get out of school an hour early because im in band, and we're marching. After that, I'm going to the JV game, where there will be fireworks and a burning "M" (for MacArthur) Itll be fun. 3nodding surprised

All the decorations for homecoming look awesome. There are blacklights by the cafeteria, giant T.V.s on the walls, and all sorts of things. and on Friday (i think) I've got to get to school at 5:30 in the morning because the local news is going to be there to film a live pep rally. I can't wait, its gonna be so fun!

MacArthur is now 8-0 because we beat South Grand Prarie 24-7. We are now guaranteed to be in the playoffs. Band went to Area on Saturday, but we didn't do so well. The wind knocked over all of our planets, and so there was a lot oof marching problems. overall, we ranked 19th out of 22. gonk Oh well, we had a party afterwards at Andie Rivero's house. It was lots of fun, and i didn't get home till 12:30. Needless to say, I was tired. And now its homecoming weekend surprised We play Grand Prarie on Friday, a home game of course. The halls look really crowded because of the decorations, but they aren't really.Maybe we'll go on to be 9-0. Maybe 3nodding

Well , I was sick today, so I stayed home. But Im still going to the football game. I actually feel better now than I did this morning so thats good. Area bontest is tomorrow at 1 o'clock, rather I have to be at Mac a one. Another long 2 days. But hopefully we'll do well at area biggrin

I got my chain wallet, as I think I've already said. Well, I've sold it now to a friend for 16k and a sealed envelope. So I think I'm gonna get horns and another envelope. ^.^

We've got another football game on friday (duh!) against South Grand Prarie (its an away game) and then Area marching contest is on Saturday, the same time as last weeks UIL contest. So im gonna be really tired this weekend too. Oh well, it'll be fun! ^.^

Whoa I haven't updated this in 4eva! well, anyways, football game friday...yeahyeahyeah we won again so we're 7-0. then on saturday band had marchin contest and we got straight 1st divisions!!!!!!!!!!!...other than that not much has happened. (I need nm hb!)

Band was actually fun today. We had practice at the football stadium because our contest is tomorrow. It was longer than usual, but I think we made some real progress. The alternates that came in for the ineligibles are doing much better. After practice, there was supposed to be a bus to take us to school, but it wasn't there, so a few of us went back to the field and played football with a stuffed Pooh bear. >.< Lots of fun. We didn't get back till around luch, and a pep rally was scheduled for lunch today. The drumline was a little late, and no one was really in the mood for it, so it kinda sucked. We did play a part from our piece that we are playing for contest, which sounds pretty cool, but no one knew where it came from, so not many people got into it. Oh well, we've got a game tonight against Nimitz. I think we might win it, making our record 7-0. Then tomorrow we have a marching contest at 6:15. Let's hope for a I!

It was a crazy weekend after the game against Irving. I went to a friend's house directly afterward and we had a mini-party like thing. I didn't go home till sunday at like 8 o'clock. Luckily there was a holiday that monday. But that night I had band practice at the stadium, mainly because we have UIL contest on Saturday, but also because the alternates that were inserted for the ineligible don't know how to friggin march! we have to teach like 10 people how to march and where to go. crying Saturday is gonna suck. I doubt we're going to get better than a two, but maybe by some miracle, we'll get a one.

Yesterday, we had a test (national testing day) so I missed half my classes whee and today is only a half day, to make up for the classes we missed yesterday. Band practice after school from 2-4, so I have an hour and a half of freedom. After that, I go home and get some much needed extra sleep. Whew!
