If someone asks you where your father is,
Where your brother is,
What do you tell them?
Just say they're at work,
And leave it at that?
Yeah, they're at work alright.
Climbing up the corporate totem pole,
Or over a wall.
Getting bombarded by work,
Or just bombed.
Late nights;
Or rather, late years.
Leaving early in the morning,
Or just after you got back.
Coming home to a surprise dinner,
Or to the child you fathered whose birth you never witnessed.
This is what happens when leaders get power hungry,
Revenge hungry.
It doesn't matter how many you murder,
How many lives you destroy,
Just make sure that one person feels like s**t.
