It's been another three years (give or take a week or two) since I've written anything in here. Here's what all's been happening:
Three months after my last entry, I got pregnant by my boyfriend turned fiance. Went through the throes of pregnancy and almost split with him a few times. My son was born two days before the 1 year mark of the previous entry. 07/07/10 at 5:46pm, my wonderful little Light was born. He and I bounced back and forth between metro Atlanta and Northeast Georgia, before I moved back April 6th of last year. April 10th, I was on my way home from work (Third shift at the Awful Waffle) when I totaled my aunt's car. I started to nod off, realized I was going off the road, and over-corrected, sending the car in to a near spin across traffic and into a culvert. I wound up breaking and dislocating my left ankle, damaging the nerves around my left knee, and having severe bruising. My then 9 month old son was in the car. He made it out with out a scratch or bruise. The recovery process was too quick (The doc was a quack and screwed me over) and even now, over a year later, I can't walk like I'm supposed to. But I have my life, and my mobility (even if it's not the greatest), and I'm thankful that my son and I still have our lives.
Flash forward to the beginning of this month and I'm at home, with my Husband (AngelousDestruction) and our son, happy and healthy. And just as a btw, when I was in NE Georgia, I was not living with Angelous. So I am very happy to just be able to see him every day.
