Creative Brain Vomit
I want to put up stories I randomly come up with here. I need all the practice and feedback I can get if I want to get published later on in life.
The Misadventures of Love Once Lost---Chapter 1
Nothing about Molly was out of the ordinary. She was 5'4" and 125 lbs. with brown hair and brown eyes. She had a small, close-knit group of friends. She was a B student. She wanted to study to be a doctor when she was in college. The typical teen aspiring for success later on in life. These were the reasons she couldn't figure out why the mysterious boy that always seemed to lurk around the school not talking to anybody had suddenly taken an interest in her. He showed up everywhere she was, always looking at her. He never seemed to leave her alone. Molly asked her friends one day if they noticed him around, and they all replied no. They couldn't even tell her his name. She was perplexed.

One day while walking alone to her last class (also her least favorite class), he startled her by walking silently behind her and then quite simply saying, "Hey."

Molly dropped her books and they slid down the hall. She turned to look at the boy. They stood in silence for a long moment. The boy finally broke thier gaze and stared down the hall at her books. "I'll get them," he said and loped around the hall retrieving the books and papers that fell out of them. Molly could only watch, frozen. She was so confused as to what was going on with this kid.

When he brought everything back for her, he said, "Hello, Molly. I'm Roarke."

The only thing that came out of her mouth was a whisper. "How'd you know my..."

"Name?" Roarke finished and chuckled. "It was on all your papers. Sorry about that." Molly just took her stuff back without saying a word. Roarke looked at his watch. "You're extremely late for last period. You might as well not even go. Care to join me?"

Molly's expression was quizzical. She still had no idea what Roarke was up to, why he showed interest in her, why he was even talking to her now. "For what?" she asked.

"I'm leaving now. Do you want to come?" he said slowly.

Molly bit her lip and thought about it. She knew absolutely nothing about this boy except his name, and yet she was seriously contemplating skipping school with him. After a few minutes of silence, through which Roarke had been very patient, Molly asked, "Where to?"

Roarke smiled and replied, "Just follow me." The two of them walked straight to the exit and left the school.

What Am I Doing Here?
My true artsy loves are the viola and creative writing. Since all hopes of going pro with my instrument are lost, I figured I'd stick to writing. A nice side hobby, if you will. So I shall post the stories I think are best and I hope everyone can provide some feedback. Keep checking in for my amazing (or not) writing!
