Weapon: A bow made of strong yew and arrows with assorted eagle and bluebird feathers and a sword for close combat, but she's better with her sword.

Born: A small city on the outskirts of Auron.
Bio: Kaori grew up as a tomboy, fighting the boys of her village. Of course, her mother never approved of this. She tried desperately to bring her back into to the girl world, and failed miserably. Often times, Kaori would come home covered in mud, or dripping wet (to try to look clean after wrestling in the mud). When she was around fifteen, her parents fell into a great debt. Kaori felt bad, and she left unexpectedly to join the army, leaving her money she had earned (or stolen) with her parents to help them. She traveled for a long time on her chestnut horse, Kirai, to the big city of Alister. There, she tried desperately to get in, but they kept denying her. But, one day, she saved a man from some muggers and he turned out to be a very important man. He helped her get in the army, after hearing her story and seeing what she had to offer in fighting.
RP sample: The wind howled as the lonely figure atop a chestnut steed stepped lightly over a hill of grass. The horse snorted, tossing his head and making his light brown locks flow up into the sky. His two front hooves picked up in the slightest way and his rider grabbed for the reigns desperately and calmed the horse. Kaori shook the loose hairs from her face and began to ride off.
Upon nearing the base of the frigid mountains, Kaori looked up, as did Kirai. He nickered and sidestepped nervously. Kaori tightened the reigns and cooed softly to her beloved horse. Getting Kirai straightened out, they started out to the top.
Kaori, upon feeling the obvious temperature change, pulled her thick cloak around her shoulders and shrugged into it. Her blue eyes cut through the fog, and when she breathed she saw her breath come out in a puffy cloud. Kirai shivered beneath her and snorted.
“We’re almost there, Kirai. Almost there…” Kaori patted him and urged him forward again. He snorted, but obeyed. Kaori hugged herself close and the wind howled in their hair, blowing it back and throwing it in wild directions and messing it up. Kaori stroked Kirai's fur to comfort him on their ride.
