The reason for some
To carry on.
The reason for others
To let go.
For some it corrupts,
For others it saves.
For some it brings the dark.

One can crave it,
While another resents it.
One can feel it,
While another is deprived.
Corruption turns the gears of War
The thundering boots against the Earth
While Justice begins to light the path
To truth, light, and salvation.

I have yet to see the man
That can handle this well.
I have yet to see the man
Who won't send us straight to hell.
Corruption is the price to pay
For all who seek the truth.
Until that one faithful day,
When the Earth is torn apart.

The truth is sometimes great
And lined with many perks.
But the bitter end is the only way
To truly see the Earth.
A barren wasteland,
Left to none
Except those left to corruption.
Men shall fall until the day
They go knock on Death's door.


The seed of doom,
The object of desire,
The truth that cannot be.
Is that Power is free,
and can it be,
The last light before the dark.
