Too scared to face the Light,
Trapped among the Darkness.
Slowly,
Ever so slowly
Dying,
Inside.
Ghosts,
The apparitions of what could be,
What should be,
But could never really be
Mocked on the outside
Betrayed on the inside.
Deceived,
Bleeding
I can’t be broken again
Or I fear an eternal Hell,
Too excruciating to bear,
Too broken to leave
Don’t leave me too die,
Though my body has gone,

Long ago.
Lost,
Not through death
But rather,
Hurled off the edge of humanity,
Reality
Into the eternal lie of ignorance.
Don’t leave me to be suffocated,
Forgotten.

Save me from the nothing I have become.
Hold the last fragment of my soul to this earth,
