My oldest brother died on Saturday morning. He had gotten up out of bed, settled down in his chair to watch TV and went to sleep and didn't wake up. I was called just a bit before 11am and told of his passing. That was one of the worst calls I have had to deal with.
My youngest girl was in the next city over book shopping and I had to call and tell her to get back home. How ever much I didn't want to tell her what had happened I had to and it was hard. I called my other two kids and let them know as well which was hard as well.
I feel the worst for my other brother since they were very close and this is going to hit Howard much harder than the rest of us. It is still sinking in that I won't see him again except in pictures and my dreams.
God Bless us that remain behind to have the strenght to deal with this.
