Don't you just love those people who think they are above and beyond the rules? I just walked out of work because of one person like that. I understand she is a dorm parent and has seniority over me because I'm just a college worker, but she was there as a 1 on 1 aide for a girl. What does that job title sound like it should be?? 1 on 1, right? NOPE not when she's here. She ignores her 1 on 1...lets the girl run around...stand in the dining room...get her own juice when the supervisor said that all kids need to stay sitting and raise their hands and we'll get them whatever it is they need. So me the college worker started to take over the 1 on 1 by holding the girls hand like ALL STAFF is suppose to whenever we're outside. This lady comes out of the dorm yells at me for it and tells me that the supervisor isn't right! UH HELLO SHE'S THE SUPERVISOR YOU STILL HAVE TO FOLLOW HER RULES! EVEN IF YOU THINK THEY ARE WRONG! I'm so ticked off I'm shaking! I feel bad about walking out of work but I didn't know what else to do. I get yelled at because she wasn't doing her job.
I've decided once again I hate people...especially stupid ones!
