Notice of Retirement

I started off 2024 with the intention of re-writing my old profile coding guide and honestly got pretty far with the new one. Once that was done, I was going to post some freebie layouts on Gaia Tools and then get back to custom commissions... but one thing after another happened and I decided to completely take a break from Gaia.

Even though I practically grew up on this site, I've lately come to realize that Gaia as a whole has kind of turned into a stagnant hole over the past 5-10 years. I stayed around for a few years, hoping to ignore things and just continue to enjoy the site as I knew it, but once I took a break, I realized how refreshing it was to explore other communities.

Anyway, all of this rambling is just me saying that I've decided to stop checking in on here. I've already been limiting my logins to once per month, but I foresee them becoming more and more infrequent in the coming year.

2. Are there any other profile makers/coders?
I can only refer you to the Personalized Graphics forum for commissions, or the Profile Discussion forum, if you want to learn how to code yourself. (I would highly advocate for the latter, since there are only one or two other coders who are active.)

3. Are you still active on Gaia? Will you ever re-open profile commissions?
(Per the blurb above) no, I barely log in once a month. It's highly doubtful that I will re-open comms or work on tweaking any past layouts, so please don't hold any hope for that.
