So I'm awake at 5:30, fishing a bucket... Why, because even though I'm tired I keep coughing every time I lay down, but it goes away when I sit up. For a while I was staring at the beautiful woman, thinking about trying to be quiet so I wasn't waking up the kids, and wandering how I ever managed to get so much more than I deserve... I'm thinking I should be still, but I'll finish out my bucket, do a puzzle, finish my cherry coke and hopefully by then I won't be coughing when I lay my head down. If not then I'll sit up and stare at that beautiful woman again until I fall asleep (and probably fall off the bed). Funny how even in miserable moments there's at least one very precious thought to warm your soul and get you past it all.
