Yes, my profile is buttfugly. It is because I am old, and therefore cantankerous, and therefore resistant to change. I am the oldest fifteen-year-old evar.
Well, it's happened. I only come to Gaia for the word games. (I find the anime name game especially addictive - I pass my final summer afternoons trying to fill up pages of only my avatar and without repeating series. Ah, the wasted golden days of youth.)
However, DokiDoki has given me new hope for the future with their upcoming Kaworu/Shinji doujinshi release. I'd been looking for that son of a b***h ******** everywhere. Man, why'd I have to miss the Eva craze by a decade?? And it was by Yun Kouga, too! That woman draws circles around pretty much everyone except Takeshi Obata and... uh... Takeshi Obata. (Well, no one draws better than Takeshi Obata, after all...) Even Masashi Kishimoto and Fuyumi Soryo are below her on the "absolutely drop-dead gorgeous artwork" scale (though they both beat her on the storyline front) (and, well, Soryo-sensei's art isn't actually that good, but she's definitely in my Top Ten Favorite Manga-ka Ever, so I just thought she should be given a chance).
Which reminds me - I gotta find some decent scans of Earthian. Hmmm...

...Jesus Christ, my s**t is worth hundreds of thousands of gold. I remember buying my Nitemare Headband for about 40,000. I traded a two Black Biker Helmets and a thousand gold for a #000000 Complex Jacket. My friend gave me her extra Ninja Band.
Gawd, I remember when there was a list at the bottom of the forums page where all the members on Gaia could be listed with links to their profiles. I remember when both Nitemare and Angelic Minis could be purchased for a couple thousand gold (Halos were only a little bit more, too). I remember when there was only Barton Town and Gambino and... that was it. And there were two clothing stores and one hat place. And the Personals were still open. And the link was still "www.go-gaia.com", and you got about two gold for every post and you had to be a serious pollwhore to get any money, and if you had more than a thousand posts you were some kind of bumping god with all the patience of a monk and all the social life of a large boulder.
...I guess being an old-timer really pays off in the end, huh?

Hrm, haven't been on Gaia in a while. I think it's sort of lost its fun - the FF riddles are tiresome, the Poetry Forum is awash in more mind-boggling and painfully Plath-esque wangst than ever, and all that's left for me is the General Forum... with its word games. I am not yet reduced to passing my afternoons with endless rounds of This or That and In My Pants games, I think.
The good part is that my Nitemare Headband is worth hundreds of thousands more than I first paid for it. Exciting. domokun

So yesterday I glomped this emo-chibi and now I expect to be knifed on my way to the bus tomorrow by his older sibling. Of course, this is all assuming the emo-chibi didn't go home and, in his extreme emo-ness and angst, overdose on children's Tylenol or Flintstones vitamins or something. Which I wouldn't put past him.
Knew I shoulda glomped the one with the messy mutant afro instead of the one that looked like a doped up Harry Potter.

And a loooong time ago I got Gravi 12. W00t w00t! Even better, apparently there is NEW Gravitation to be had, a la GENZO webzine. Track 55+! ^_______^!!!!
...On a more serious note (and something that still has me shocked to the core) a girl in my school and grade was murdered by the older brother of another kid in my school and grade. Yeah. It's more than a bit s**t-your-pants scary, but at least I can be safe for the moment in Canada (where the murder rate was, like, three people in one year and two of them commited by US immigrants...)
But it is really scary, still. I mean, I once cheered her up in fourth grade when she was crying! I mean, we weren't friends or even acquaintances... but still. I sat next to the guy's brother in third grade for half the year. It's really, really creepy. She was never that popular, I know, and she could be snobbish (or so I heard), but it's sad.
So, R.I.P. Jen Parks.
...it... it really is quite sad, you know.
And there goes Randolph's reputation. Wow, we're not only a popular cocaine town with school teachers who have a tendency to engage in sexual acts with their students, but we also had a girl be murdered by a high school drop out!
Wow. I feel really disrespectful and ashamed and all, but I don't know what to do. I can honestly say this is the first time something like this has ever happened to me. Though it does make me happy to know that I, at least, am not ashamed of how I treated her, seeing as the only time we ever met was to make her laugh.
(And yes, I sound all sentimental, but you know what? ******** the sarcasm. This is serious s**t.)
