Forgotten Rhymes
Dreary grew ever the days
As night seemed to carry on
Suffocating and cold in so many ways
Walking through fogs thick drum
Ice built it's cage around my heart
Streak grew the face with tears of dark
Finding hope faded at the part
Where night had made true it's mark
Long ago it seemed true to be
That cheer and more to be were found
As darker grew the path to see
Weight too heavy on heart abound
Somewhere from the shadows light
Looking became burdens right
Denied at paths to many times
Folded inward to become forgotten rhymes...
