(After the whole DBZ, Sailor Moon, Pokemon, Digimon, Bey Blade, etc craze on national television when I was a kid. I didn't know they belonged to a thing called anime.)

I remember liking the Inuyasha dub better back then so didn't bother getting DVDs to watch in Japanese. Then the series got too long so lost interest too.
From Trigun to Rurouni Kenshin, I got the DVDs and watched in both languages from start to finish. Considering that just Kenshin is 96+ episodes long.. xD; I'm still amazed how I accomplished that when I barely have time nowadays to watch anything at all. (I bare deep regret that ADV got serialization of Kenshin's OVAs and wrongfully named them Samurai X amongst other ruinous things. After so many years, they still haven't improved and I still don't like them.) Seeing how dubs haven't been quite up to par lately, partly and only partly due to my growing love of and for the Japanese language (another part due to not having cable TV since after Inuyasha first aired back in the 90s which I am now rather grateful for) everything after Rurouni Kenshin I only watched in Japanese with subs.
