The world seemed to stop

Our hearts fluttering with delight

All my worries disappeared

A moment on the phone
When I first told you those 3 words
In a moment
All the angels in heaven sang

In one moment you swept away my pain
Cleared away the ashes of my past
In a moment
You restored my heart and soul

In a moment notice you fought for me
Let your blood stain the ground a crimson tint
In a moment
You became my protector and defender

In a moment everything just stopped
As I watched you fall and not get up
In a moment
I realized my worst fear

In a moment I cried to flood the world
My essence of life stolen from me
