Katake lived in a little island and was outside playing with his shadow ( yeah he was hated that much..) his shadow was the only friend he had, the other kids through rocks at him and treated him like dirt he always came home beaten up. the villagers wanted to kill katake because of his powers saying that they will bring nothing but madness. but his mother and father say that they are the only ones who are bringing madness trying to kill a child. One night, a group of pirates where heading up to the shore of their island. When they arrived they acted real friendly and even gave the villagers gifts to prove that they mean no harm. The villagers accepted the pirates gifts and let them stay for the night. A few hours later the pirates start to plan their ambush to steal the villagers valuables and to burn it down to the ground. It was late very late and quiet but then the screams from the villagers broke the silence. The ambush began...

The village was set on fire, smoke filled up the night sky and bodies covered the ground. The pirates then broke into Katake's house and killed both of his parents right in front of him, the pirates decided to let Katake die on his own since he is just a kid.The pirates sailed away into the the darkness. Everyone was slaughtered....the pirates took everything from katake his village..his family.., he even cared about the people that hated him so much. Katakes eyes glowed with anger they turned from blue..to red.
